Ocean Sun Dive Resort

The rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms. They are very thoughtful about a few things and have kept umbrellas, mosquito coils & sprays, extra extension cords and even a diffuser (you can ask for essential oils you prefer) in the rooms. The property has an in-house restaurant that serves good food through the day including alcohol. They also have a nice view of Mt. Agung. The pool seems nice, I did not use it however was busy everyday. If you are interested in massages they will arrange for masseuse to come to you, and have a massage in your room, patio or by the pool - this is really nice.

The beds are not comfortable at all. It’s really hard and I really could not get much sleep. I don’t think the team cleans the room everyday nor change the towels, or even refill the water or clean the coffee cups. I had to do this myself. The power goes on and off quite often, but this may not be in their control? What I was really disappointed was that the water in the shower ran out one day while I was in the bath and there was no way to call anyone - no phones to the reception as well. I waited in the bathroom helpless for at least 15 min before the water started again. Please not the resort is SSI registered and not PADI so if you are on a diving trip please use another dive Centre if needed.

It was close to diving, the restaurant was good, and the coffee was good. They had a bar. It’s a quiet town but we meet fellow travelers there.

Beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, delicious food, helpful and friendly staff. Full service Dive shop attached. Nanok was great dive master.

All was perfect!

Rooms were big and comfy. Outside bathroom was amazing with great shower pressure. Also breakfast and restaurant were top level.

Very clean rooms, nice staff, good kitchen, drinking water included. Nice garden and pool. The staff in dive center is very helpful. We have great dives, good visibility, a lot big fish.

Could be a bit cleaner.No vegan options for breaky other than indonesian food. No soy milk or any other alternative available.

Good value for money. Outside bathroom was nice! Large room. Good location and the bar is nice to hang out in the evening. Airconditioning works well. Friendly staff.

The bed was not that comfortable (very firm). In the early morning there are hens making quiet some noise. Make sure to bring earplugs. The curtains aren’t completely darkening so bring an eyemask if you’re sensitive to that :). Warm water runs out pretty quickly so you can’t take long hot showers.

The rooms are as advertised and the facilities outside are good for relaxing. There is a restaurant on property with quite tasty food.

Minus points and a warning for anyone who wants to work remotely from here between dives - the internet connection is horrendous. It constantly disconnects or just stops working. Additionally, there is no hairdryer available, and the water is not being delivered to rooms for some reason (you can get it yourself, though).

Breakfast was quite poorly. I didn’t like the type of breakfast offered - basically you can only choose one thing and all the rest is extra and chargeable

Beautiful resort in Tulamben, very spacious room, friendly staff, Mount Agung visible from front door and Liberty Wreck/Ocean within walking distance.

The mattress is really too soft.

Very good localisation specially when you dive. Big and comfortable beds. Great bathroom. Helpfull and friendly staff. Very good food. Recommend.

The property is close to quite a few restaurants, main purpose for our trip is for diving. Close to a lot of popular dive shops.

Staff was not that friendly

Great little resort, very friendly staff, nice pool, nice rooms, decent restaurant. I did a dive with them to the wreck which was fantastic and would highly recommend them for diving. They also have snorkeling gear you can rent which we did on the first day there which was very nice too.

Clean comfortable room and good bathroom. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good and was included with the room. The restaurant on site served very good food.

Location appeals to divers. The coastline has some black sand but is quite rocky.

Clean, great location for diving the wreck, lovely staff, pool really nice.

Wifi wasn't great in the rooms.

Loved the amazing and knowledgeable dive Masters at this well run and experienced dive center! If you’re an expert diver you will love working with them. Beginner divers are also well taken care of and will have a great experience ??

No water bottles in the rooms but there’s a common water bottle station.

staff/owners are very welcoming, very easy to scuba dive. I done 2x shore dives, dive guide was amazing, attentive and relaxed. room/hotel was clean.

I would recommend having Netflix or similar, as after diving there’s not a lot to do in the area.
