Mimpi Resort Menjangan

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The resort was quite big and there were enough activities to choose from within the resort. The staffs were also very kind and helpful.

The available breakfast options were too limited. I wish there were more options to choose from.

The property is huge and impeccably maintained. Because it is low season, the prices were very discounted. We treated ourselves to one of the villas with a private hot spring. The room was not large, but comfortable. The bed was cozy with a choice of pillows. The enclosed patio was a real treat….private and relaxing. We used the Mimpi dive center and were impressed with their staff. Sri is an excellent dive master and guide. Diving at Menjangan was the best we have had on Bali. The restaurant staff was delightful. Artata. Merda and others welcomed us by name every day and looked after us. Their smiles and welcomes were always a treat.

The food at the restaurant was very inconsistent from day to day. You could order the same dish 3 days in a row and each time the portions, the platings and the preparation would be different. For instance, I ordered the fruit platter 2 days in a row. The first day, the serving was generous, with multiple slices of tropical fruits. The second day, I received one slice of pineapple, one slice of papaya, one small wedge of watermelon and a small bunch of grapes.

Cabins and service were good.

Distance from the cabins to the restaurant. Suggest another closer café for those not able to walk the distance or have golf cart transportation on request.

Everything was excellent! Loved the restaurant by the mangroves and the staff are all memorable and excellent. Large rooms and exposed bathroom was a charm.

No fan on the porch making the outdoor seating area useless.

Spacious. Very spacious.Good diving school on the premises.Some cute monkeys on the grasses, non invasive like at some other places.The diving around menjangen island is second to none.Most cottages come with private hotspring.

The property is huge and well maintained. The design of every aspect of the property is well thought out and esthetically built There are multiple pools with lots of shade provided. Two of the pools are from the hot springs located there. The property is located on the water, but because it is busy with boats, there is no swimming from the beach. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Our room was small, but we had a huge outdoor bathroom and a large outdoor seating area with a hot spring pool in our enclosure. There was a bed located outside next to our pool for lounging. The spa is staffed with competent masseuses and very reasonable prices. Because we booked off season, the price of the room was heavily discounted. Which made our stay a real bargain.

The food at the restaurant was okay, not as good as one would expect for a property of this caliber. Servings were small. Quality and portions of items on the menu were inconsistent from day to day. The servers were wonderful though. The property is at a beautiful location, but not close to stores or other amenities.

A fantastic resort set in lush surroundings. The two pools were amazing , one overlooking the sea and the other set in tranquil gardens. Rooms were spacious and well equipped and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would love to come back here for a longer stay.

It would be good to have more information about different activities available for guests in the rooms.

Food at sunset restaurant is awful, doesn't have much flavour. Very limited vegetarian options too. Staff is slow , we had multiple misunderstandings in English. National Park "trek" was a joke - the "jungle walk" was next to the road, littered with rubbish and overpriced. Snorkeling at Menjangan island was beautiful but again swimming through so much rubbish! Booking the snorkeling tour feels like a tourist trap. Boat driver/ guide didn't communicate well, also pulled a turtle away from the reef and it swam away. More education around nature conservation needed here.

The atmosphere is peaceful and calming, with lush greenery and a beautiful, understated design.　The furniture and decor in the rooms are tasteful and well chosen.The gardens are spacious, beautifully maintained, and add a lot to the relaxing environment.　Having access to a natural hot spring was a real highlight.The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The restaurant has much room for improvement, both in menu variety and food quality. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in my private courtyard, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the hot spring and daybed. While relaxing by the pool, a monkey stole my bag and we couldn't get it back!! 　While it is understandable that the hotel cannot control the monkeys, I believe they should warn guests not to leave their belongings unattended by the pool.

The room was very basic. We loved the terass with the sofa. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was very good. There is a walkingdistance t the restaurant and one of the pools.

The area has not much to explore if you don´t snorkle or dive. There is a lot of monkeys in the area and some days even at the poolarea.

Great pools and hot springs. The diving was wonderful on Menjangan Island. The spa was great. Beautiful grounds. The restaurant has a lovely view.

Everything was beyond expectation! The staff, the rooms, the facilities, the location, the spa and the food. They even had vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere was serene. The hotsprings were a nice addition. Mimpi also is considerate to their impact environment, they try to use as little throw away plastics as possible and provide the possibity for guests to participate in projects that have a positive impact to the local enviroment (i.e. planting mangroves, coral restoration). One thing Mimpi could still improve, is installing solar panels in order to be less dependent on fossil fuels.Thank you Mimpi for this amazing stay ?

We were fascinated by the hot spring pools and the good taste of the materials used as well as the beautiful insertion in the landscape. Also the little, cosy gym and the taste of the bedrooms. The garden is very well cared of and beautiful.
