a bit costly

Clean and comfortable room, quiet and well kept grounds. Wide selection of food choices. The in-house dive centre is convenient for organising dives in nearby Menjangan Island.

The outdoor bathroom/toilet is typical Balinese but needs upgrading.

The location, the facilities and the staff

The staff were exceptional, bed comfortable, infinity pool lovely. Despite resort prices being about 3 times ordinary Bali prices the Facial I had at the spa was to die for & the buildings and grounds are kept immaculate.Loved my window seat view in Kura Kura room. Fresh fruit supplied in room was a nice touch.Breakfasts huge.

A little too isolated for me, I prefer to be able to take a stroll to take advantage of local shops, beauty salons, pharmacy & restaurants, also spreading the money around. Cost $15 to go 5 mins away by resort shuttle including return.$50 to to 20 mins to Pemuteran ($30 with local driver. No Grab or Gojek transport available there.A mini fridge would have been useful & aircon that could be adjusted.

AC was very noisy! They need some maintenance! Hotel was very empty- if I were them, I will give an upgrade to the hotel guests to share some hospitality!

I would recommend garden furniture - table and chairs - in the small gardens in the back of the bay view rooms. Would be nice to have a space to lounge back there and enjoy

A nice hotel in a quiet part of Bali; very different from Ubud and the beaches in the south. The hotel has an absolutely magnificent swimming pool; large, with great views of the sea and mountains. We went on a lovely snorkeling trip. The hotel room, bed and outdoor shower were comfortable. We saw many monkeys close to the hotel.

The restaurants was okay, but nothing special. The nearby town has some very good and extremely cheap restaurants. Dapoer Chandra is close to the resort and serves excellent Indonesia food!

RECEPTION TEAM.and the BOAT DRIVER/TOURIST GUIDE. Pak Juli was amazing. An expert telling ypu all you need to know about balinese history, mythology and belifs. Great place to stay for at least 5 days....

We stayed at Naya Gawana for a week with members of our party in a Mangrove Suite, Lumbung Suite and a Kura Kura room. The accommodation was perfect and really suited us. Staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to do everything they could to ensure our holiday was perfect. The Manager touched base with us most days for a chat and to check all was ok. The food was great with a very varied menu. The diving team were excellent and we felt very reassured that we were in very safe hands. There was lots of space and accommodation was spread out. Having a pool table proved good entertainment for the younger members of our party.

It was not an issue for us but Naya Gawana maybe a bit too isolated for some. Though transport to other places and very varied day and half day trips to places of interest and for activities can easily be arranged through the reception team.

The room was very clean and well-equipped. They even gave mosquito repellent cream in the room. The outdoor bathroom with a private garden was a plus! We were also very impressed by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. We had issues with the internet on the first day, but one of the staff members (we didn't catch his name, unfortunately) helped talk to the internet provider and it was resolved by that night. Once we ordered from the restaurant a chocolate milkshake that was bland, but after we raised it to one of the restaurant staff, they made a fresh and tastier one for us right away.

Honestly, we had higher expectations for the breakfast given the price we paid. The pancakes and waffles were mostly cold and stale since they were made ahead of time. The warm food like fried rice and fried noodles was also cold as it wasn't sufficiently heated during the breakfast service.Not a necessity, but it would've been nice to have a razor in the toiletries kit :)And just to add a note - there is no "beachfront" where you can sit by the beach and get into the water. But there's a nice pool that overlooks the bay.

Heavenly views and setting in the mangrove. Beautiful pool and garden with monkeys wandering not far. Massages, food and staff were all really nice too!

The bill for drinks and food at the end of 2 days stay was incomprehensible, far too expensive for what it was. We avoided paying unreasonable diving fees proposed by hotel by just asking a driver to find sthg else in line with local price

Hats off to the staff, they were very attentive, caring and passionate in serving us the customers.

They dont have toilet bidet, the pizza was bland.

The property is in such a peaceful part of Bali. The pool was amazing, breakfast fantastic, staff super helpful & friendly. Also, didn’t use plastic water bottles = A+.Scuba at Menjangan Island definitely worthwhile.

The view is amazing, i was placed in a room with a full view of the lake/sea. it was quiet and undisturbed. i think i got in at a good time between 2 different tour groups so pretty much had the entire place to myself. The staff was very accommodating to my breakfast needs at 5am for a trekking trip. it was a spread to say the least with an array of breads, pancakes and fruits all packed and ready to go.

the cleanliness in the room could be better, but it was still at an acceptable level.

Very beautiful Resort right at the sea, very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, big pool and nice hot pot. They serve tasty local wine. The right place, if you look for a professionally managed place rather than an informal heartfelt and easy going atmosphere.

The food at the restaurant is okay, but relatively expensive considering the taste. We had much better meals for lower prices in other places. All activities are way more expensive compared to other local tour agencies (snorkeling, diving, trekking), so we organized almost all activities with other providers.
