Pros +
- The staff were soooo accommodating. Everyone from the door man, to the bell hop, to the front desk, to the wait staff, chef, our maid. As well the room was just beautiful and the most amazing bed and pillows!!
- The bed was comfortable. The lighting system in the room and bathroom was nice and safe. Varieties of towels were provided daily. The room cleaner was attentive to my needs. The AC was adequate. the mini fridge consists of compartments and was practical.
- Nothing special.
Cons -
- The shower/shower head was beautiful but too big to get out of way of the water to rinse my hair. Removable wand was tricky to manage with slippery hands. Maybe there was a trick to it but I couldn't figure it out. Ended up with shampoo in my eyes.
- Need stricter control on certain guests smoking in their rooms.
- The staff did not speak English, and communication was so difficult for a tourist. TV channels in room were very limited only 1 or 2 in English and local only. No international satellite. The lobby area was not pleasant .There are no seats or sofas. they had an adjacent area to the lobby, but it closed very early. The AC was not cool enough in the lobby nor in the restaurants. All restaurants were very limited in menu. The spa staff is hard to communicate or understand your needs . I found overpriced services in spa. I had to extend my stay in the hotel to a total of 20 nights because I was hospitalized for 9 days at the time during which my room had no occupancy—only my luggage. I asked to be granted some privileges, such as a little discount in room rate, but they didn't.It was so hard to order anything to the room due to staff lacking in English communication.

Nothing special.
The room did not have wi-fi. No comb, radar, q-tip found in the bath room. We have to call front office to get them one by one. Only one entrance to the hotel lobby. All other doors are blocked. No chair or couch in the lobby. Cigarette smell all over the corridor.
Beautiful hotel. great location close to malls and easy access to historical sites. The gym was dated but they had both a sauna and steam room, large indoor pool. Room was large and comfy. Nice bar.
The buffet was not good and the breakfast buffet was nearly $30. There's a Starbucks next door and breakfast options around the corner at the malls. The restaurants were quite pricey.
Good location, good value, super friendly staff. Clean, chic design.
The interior design is modern and chic but not the most practical one. For example, there are not many drawers in the room. If you are a traveler like me who likes taking pictures hunts out of luggage, you may learn now to put things away smartly without ruining the tidy and b room. What’s said, it’s not a big deal.
Very clean, good location, great facilities
Nice large room with view, nice gym and pool. Great room layout, spacious
The buffet is not good and breakfast costs $27 or so. The restaurants were pricey.
I really enjoyed the location and hospitality of the hotel
A/C in room was not strong enough
Good location near to metro station, room was clean and spacious, friendly and helpful staff.
The location is good. Near to few big malls with plenty of shopping and restaurant choices.
1) Staff is not proactive, not confident in giving advice on queries like dropping off points for some tourist spots as well as ticketing booth info.2) No waiting area/sofa at the hotel lobby! A first for me for having to stand and wait for my didi transport for 45 mins on a rainy day. When my travel agent came to pass us our contract, he also seemed shocked that we did not even have an area to sit down to go through the contract.3) I was also given a wrong bill under my room and name with wrong credit card details upon checkout. And when I told him so, he asked if I was sure ?!! Only after a good 10mins thrn he realized that it was his mistake.
Rooms location free WiFi was very bad should improve more English should be spoken bye front office staff
wifi some staff inability to speak English also the tours offered bye hotel were bad
The kind staff brought up the menu to take our order personally for room service
Most of the staff don't know English but they make it up with their kind service. the toilet, bath and changing area the doors have quite big gaps though so it's not very private.
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Concierge staff was helpful in assisting us to receive and retrieve our online purchases. Hotel also helped us to safekeep our luggage for a few days while we travelled out of Beijing. There are a few malls near to the hotel.
It is spacious and comfortable. The room is large and enough for a couple.
The breakfast is so so for a 5 star hotel.
The room is spacious with a walk-in wardrobe within toilet for hanging jackets and other clothes. Wide selections for buffet breakfast.
Overall a mediocre hotel. The room we had was however excellent and modern with all facilities. We paid for executive club lounge access which was very disappointing. Of all the many club lounges we have visited this was the worst. The food offering was poor and no evening buffet offered. Compared to the Grand Hyatt Beijing the lounge would rate 3/10 compared to 10/10 at the Hyatt. Location was however good but not a hotel we will revisit.
Location
It’s was winter during our stay. Hotel shut down all the airconds and guest couldn’t have Aircond during stay. Room was remain at 27-29 celcius degree. Too stuffy. Staff asked to open the window and send us a portable fan. It’s like I pay a hotel price to stay a place without Aircond.
Very close to a big mall with good shopping and food.
Very friendly and helpful staff
