Large rooms and great workout facilities. Food was A++++ and priced well also!

They would NOT let us use the pool with out purchasing a bathing cap. They did not communicate well in English. They charged even for coffee in the room.

Strong smoke smell in non smoke room. Very old room

It has a wonderful location and great convenience, as summarized in my previous review (2024).The front desk staff are all very polite, patient, and professional.The Concierge Department staff are extremely helpful, providing excellent guidance and service. Guest Relations Manager Mr. Gawahi is exceptionally courteous, greeting guests warmly and offering help proactively.My room service personnel works diligently and thoughtfully.

The room doesn’t seem to be well soundproofed.

Cozy and comfortable with very friendly helpful staff. Gym was almost empty first thing in the morning. Room was spatious and clean with all the amenities. I work remotely and wifi connection was stable and fast enough. Heating can be regulated in the room. Location is probably the best in Beijing, everything is close, subway and bus stations, restaurants, stores. I loved the food and room service staff were very kind. Overall had a great experience. I can see the hotel was built some time ago but I don’t mind as the good atmosphere outweighs it. Will definitely be back here next year.

Perfect location. Clean. Very friendly staff

The facility is old..we were assigned a room that is super dark, the curtains can barely close fully. I did not check in because I arrived late. If I were there during the check in, I would request another room.

This hotel is located in the center of the capital city with a series government buildings, historical points of interest, financial facilities and varies types of restaurants and shopping centers within the walking distance. It is very convenient for having a plenty of choices on morning breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, many public transportation and subway stations, convenient stores and bakeries are nearby.

Some of the rooms are having no AC control unit available, or it is not function normally.

The building is pretty old. The only thing that was not pleasant is the smell in the bathroom. I think the pipe system is old or maybe not the best design, at certain time of the day, like in the evening and morning when it’s peak hour of toilet use, the bathroom has a strong and bad smell. Other than that, it’s a very comfortable hotel with great location. Thanks!

Good location

The lobby was pretty but not for customers. If you want sit there, you need to pay.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were kind and helpful

The 9th floor smelled of smoke and was very worn out. The reception asked for deposit when we checked in, and wanted more deposit because we had the price of the breakfast add on the room.They should qask us to pay instead of this.

A standard big international hotel in the middle of Beijing. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to go back for either.

Rooms were large and the location is not bad. Staff was reasonably friendly

Old and rather shabby government hotel, seems like stuck in the 90s. Very fuzzy about registering, spent half an hour filling out a lengthy form on my itinerary. Unless you’re looking for experiencing the 招待所 feeling surely not recommended.

The buftet lunch was very good. The hotel main lounge was very nice looking.

My wife felt that the room was not clean enough.

Room had an odor, carpet was dirty and shower molded.

The concierge, the one who spoke English, was very helpful and nice.

The travel agency was terrible.
