EAST Beijing

The room was clean and modern, with a nice view of the city. The bed was very comfortable, and the temperature was easy to adjust. The paid breakfast selection was maybe the best we've ever had. The location is also very convenient, attached to the mall and the metro station.

The rooms are big and clean. The beds are comfy. The hotel has modern design. It connects to a shopping mall, very convenient.

It’s very nice property attached to the mall & metro station. Near by there also a park & at the end of the park there is a fresh local market

It has a nice gym & pool with full shower. The staff let me shower after I check out since I have a long flight home. The second floor restaurant let me stay after closing so I can work

I don't understand their accounting. I booked this hotel through booking.com. 4 hour before check-in, they charged my credit card. During check-in they again whole room charge + RMB 500 per night. In check-out they reversed deposit but it seems I'll receive first charge and deposit after two weeks. Also they charged for tooth brush, razor,....

Stayed one evening for a very short business trip. The hotel was well located, only a ~7 minute taxi ride from the 798 Art district, ~20 mins from Beijing Capital airport and ~25 mins from the Forbidden City. The hotel was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and finished to a decent standard, with friendly English-speaking staff.The breakfast was a fair mix of Continental (cheese, cold meats, cereal, breads) and Chinese (congee, noodles, stir-fry) as well as the usual eggs, sausages, fruit etc. The view I had was of the construction site (multi-storey car park? Another building?) but there was no noise disruption. The bed was very comfortable, room size was decent, and all in all satisfied what I needed for a flying visit. Did not use facilities but there was a gym open until 10:30pm for guests.I had also accidentally left behind an item of clothing, and the staff were very efficient in helping to arrange shipping to my next destination (Hong Kong), which was surprisingly very cheap. East Beijing are very foreigner-friendly than many other hotels I have stayed in, and for their level of service, price and location, I would recommend and choose to stay here again.

There is no mini-fridge, kettle or safe. I also had an issue with noise in my room (substantial enough that it disturbed sleep) and called reception around midnight, who spoke English. They very quickly sent a Mandarin-only mechanic to check, and revealed a large circuit board/fuse box in one of the panels in-between the front door and cupboard. He pulled a cable out which stopped the loud buzzing but rendered one of the wall sockets useless as it lost electricity. It solved the issue for the evening but I would have requested a room change if I stayed longer.

- variety and quality of food for breakfast - staff at the reception - shopping mall downstairs with easy access to metro- quality of cosmetics - warm, cozy, wooden style decoration of hotel- good internet connection

- something in the room creaked in the wind as if a piece of the wall was about to fall off- no complimentary water at the room- no carpet in room, which made it look a bit austere

I absolutely loved my experience at East Beijing! The pool was fantastic, the room was modern and clean, and the pavlova from the restaurant was so delicious we ordered two slices in one day. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

The hotel facilities were excellent. A very comfortable twin room with a good view from the 17th floor. The staff were outstanding and so helpful with everything, looking after us very well. Very handy to have the shopping centre linked to the hotel for anything you need.

Great breakfast! Location superb and right next to the mall. Super comfortable beds. Helpful staff. No negatives - highly recommend!

Convenient location connected to the huge mall -- One indigo and train station. Staff were all friendly and polite. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They even gave me a surprise cake for my birthday. Totally unexpected. Thanks!

The door of the hotel of one of the rooms was a little creaky... But not really a big issue. Everything's great otherwise.

The room was a great size and really comfortable. Staff were nice and it was very convenient being next to Indigo.

The sound proofing of the front door was not great. I could hear other guests talking in the hallway, opening and closing their doors and walking. This did disrupt my sleep a few times.

Location, you can find a huge mall with many stores next to the hotel - it’s literally next to the hotel

Cleaning, Air conditioning loud, Air in the room, You cannot open the windows in this high rise, they requested a deposit which was two amount the booking costs - even though I booked it upfront

The breakfast offered lots of options. The bed was one of the most comfortable we got to experience.

There are renovation work just in front of the hotel so the view is not ideal at all

It is a great location and is convenient to be adjacent to a shopping mall and many good restaurants.

The shower room drainage needs a deep cleaning.

The hotel was very comfortable and elegant.

The only thing we did not like was a small experience with one of their restaurants. In which supposedly it closed at 10pm, yet we were refused service at 9:20pm.

It was my first stay at the hotel, and it was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff, rich breakfast and cosy room with all the amenities. A very good stay for short )
