Pros +
- The best part of the hotel was a location and helpful staff. For example Ms. Una hotel staff was helpful to book a non-standard taxi, other staff helped to book a tour and heat the food etc.
- I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Beijing. The location is excellent which very close to Wangfujing, one of the city’s most famous shopping streets, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. One of the highlights was that the hotel is cat-friendly and actually raises cats, which made the atmosphere feel warm and special, especially for animal lovers. The room was very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the toilet with a Japanese-style automatic bidet, which was a big plus, as China is often known for squat toilets. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thanks to Anna, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay.
- It’s at a good location in the middle of the city and closer to many attractions. I was surprised to see Panasonic washlet (built-in bidet) in the toilet, something rarely seen outside Japan.
Cons -
- Breakfast is light but in a way good for health!
- The location was great, but between two major subway stations so a bit of a walk in either direction.
- It is quite noisy, and you hear everything happening in the corridor. The receptionists, although very nice need some basic training and English lessons. The breakfast was one of the worst I have ever had. Knowing that most of your guests are not Chinese, I think the hotel could have made an effort.

Room was comfortable with a TV and moderately sized bathroom. Great cleaning daily. Staff were excellent, in particular Anna and Lily!

Overall good value for money. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated having a small terrace.

It is a very beautiful small hotel . Very clean and had room cleaned every day. The hotel has a washing machine and also provided washing powder. Breakfast was included in the price. Staffs are very helpful. When we arrived at the hotel I was unable to pay the taxi fare because Alipay was not working in my phone. The staff paid the taxi driver by his own phone. I am very thankful to the hotel staff. The location is perfect . It is in the old town , which is the one of the attractions of old Peking. Lama temple, modern shopping malls , temple of havens all are 30/40 min walking distance.
Our stay at Xingshe Hotel was truly delightful. We stayed in Room 202 (family room with balcony), which was very clean, well-organized, and equipped with new, high-quality furnishings. The room was spacious and perfectly suitable for a family, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel breakfast was varied every day, and the generous time window from 7:30 to 10:00 AM made it easy to enjoy our morning without feeling rushed. The location of the hotel was excellent as well; just about a 15-minute walk from the famous Wangfujing Street, which was ideal for sightseeing and shopping. Most importantly, the warm, polite, and professional attitude of the front desk staff truly enhanced our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and respect, and throughout our stay, their prompt and helpful responses gave us a sense of comfort and ease.I can confidently say that this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to stay in Beijing.
Staff and breakfast
I cannot find the hotel location on DiDi. It is very inconvenient while booking via DiDi to go to this hotel
Breakfast was delicious and accommodated allergies. One of our best stays on our Asia tour, three siblings in our early 20s.
Staff did not speak English
The room is clean and comfortable to sleep in
we didn’t expect the location to be in that place which is not senior friendly. it took us a lot of walking everyday. but we were able to immerse with the locals.
Convenient location near the city center. Very clean and new, with spacious rooms that are worth the price in Beijing. Ellie from the staff was extremely helpful, and even gave us a gift when we checked out. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing
Everything was good very friendly staff and good location and very good breakfast and clean, except the tv wasn’t working and they didn’t do anything about it!
Tv doesn’t work!
Very helpful receptionists. Rooms are tidy and clean, and most importantly — comfortable.
Staff was so nice, the rooms were clean, there was free laundry facilities, and breakfast was served each morning
Good value, good location. Staff was wonderful (Una, Anna). The ladies who made the breakfast was fantastic as well.
Nice breakfast , allowed us for a late check out. , very friendly to their guest , best location , highly recommend
The three staff are friendly and speak English clearly. This was helpful for us. The breakfast also was simple and varied.
Nice location, pleasant staff
It was stuffy and the window couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning was barely working. Also, the toilet was clogged most of the time, and the staff had to come several times to unclog it
Good location, not too far from the forbidden city and other points of interest. Laundry facilities available.
I was close to bus stops and metro stations, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Suki and Anne.
Bathroom was little bit old.
