    Pros +

    • Location.
    • I did not realise at the time of booking that the hotel was showcasing street artist Matt Adnate's pieces, which made it all that more interesting. There was even a book within the room that included a biography and history of his work. Very cool! Art aside, the room was comfortable and the hotel itself well-located. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

    Cons -

    • Arrived at 8 am and had asked for early check in. Was told it wasn’t possible until 2. Came back a few hours later around 11:30 and waited in the lobby with the same front desk staff. Was only after I noticed several people checking in early that I went to ask and was able to. Minor annoyance but after a 13 hour flight would have been nice.
    • The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a little bit.
    • Only 1 chair for twin room, not ideal when family eating food and end up sitting in the bed. Wardrobe space was small for 4 people’s clothing. Breakfast choice not the best I’ve had

They room, the toiletries. Bluetooth on the tv is a bit to work out but that's probably more user error. Breakfast so good, best baked beans! Was a little disappointed that there were no slices, like when we stayed last time but that's just because they were delicious!Front desk staff were lovely too

Loved the bar and pool on the higher levels, privacy but still a part of the vibrancy of the townThe staff were amazing, the room was just the right size. It was an amazing weekend.

Great for families - we stayed in the connecting room with a 2 & 4 year old.

Skip the breakfast. There are excellent options across the road

    9MorganPosted on: 2-11-2026

Breakfast was ok. Standard fresh fruit, bread, juices and buffet hot foods. Real coffee would be better especially with the price.

Pool was nice, cocktail service was slow but they were delicious. Lunch was great to. Good location.

The staff and the kindness of all there- bar and reception staff! Even gave us a free upgrade!

I wish they had more useable toiletries- toothbrush, sanitary products etc.

Great location, very clean, beautiful room and incredible views!!

Only thing, if I really need to pick one , it’s the WiFi that didn’t work properly

It was a fantastic location and the afternoon by the pool was amazing.

Breakfast was average. Eggs very sloppy.

The Adnate was a fantastic choice for our family getaway for Australia Day. With seven of us, it's not always easy to find a place that suits everyone and the Adnate was perfect with beautiful artwork of Matt Adnate. We loved the breakfast, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming.

It’s a beautiful art series hotel with great bar and rooms are gorgeous - it’s also central for CVD

    Nothing at all

Last minute decision to stay in the city after a concert. Very close to the RAC arena. Spacious room, well appointed. Its view

Would have liked a drink at the bar after the concert but it was closed
