Location

Room and bathroom were cramped. No way to prevent some water getting on clothes etc when showering. Bedroom had no window or personal light and bunk bed was up against wall making it hard to grab railing Unsafe without a proper grab point.

Great shared spaces, very clean, double pillows and blankets.

No a/c in room, only fan, could get very hot

The hospitality and helpfulness of all the staffs.The place was so clean.Blanket was comfy, bedsheet was so soft and smell good.The tap water had warm and cold to choose, it kept me warm when I washed my hands or utensils.

The drinking water tastes a bit different but that wasn't a big issue to me.

Bed cubbies were nice. Nice staff. Large, equipped kitchen. Plenty of fridge space. Clothes line out back. Free book library. Plenty of lounge/socializing space. Everything is clean.

No lift, FYI but just one flight of stairs. Beds are comfy but the bottom bunks can get a little dark so a lamp would be nice to have!

Nice hostel with big open kitchen space - was only there a night or two but had no complaints.

More toilets and shower should be right

A small, well organised and welcoming hostel with great facilities. Staff were very on top of making sure everything was clean. 15min walk away from the CBD in a quiet location.

Bedside lamps, resolving the smell in the women's toliets and a specified zone for smoking would improve the experience. I couldn't enjoy the outdoor or common areas in the evening as there was always someone smoking.

I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else in Perth. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in by far. The staff are friendly, including the manager (Cam) who makes an effort to interact with guests. I was welcomed by a lovely staff member Mary-Lou who was accommodating and made me feel at home within 30 mins of arriving. There is constantly a staff member with a vacuum attached to their back so the place is immaculate. The communal spaces are great - there’s a huge sofa, outdoor seating and beds, and the atmosphere makes you look forward to spending time in the communal spaces.

Friendly atmosphere, nice & welcoming staff. Kitchen facilities really good, bed was comfortable and clean, and there was adequate space to store belongings. They have padlocks in case your own doesn’t fit the storage locker as mine didn’t. Felt pretty safe.

Like all hostels and sharing spaces can just depend who you end up in a room with, nothing bad about the property but just an awareness of this. Even though we were given keys for the room, the room never seemed to be locked, probably because of the people coming and going often.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating!! Location was ok but still a 20min ish walk into the main centre. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. If you come here solo just be aware that it is not very sociable.

Bad

Had an early checkout, got told I would automatically receive the $50 security fee back, but have not. Phone does not work and they do not respond to messages. Also the parking that they advertise is non-existant

A lot of people appeared to be living in the hostel so not the best to socialise in if you’re travelling. It was a good 20 min walk from the city centre.

Great location, clean and comfortable private room

Nice size of the bedrooms. there was also a mirror, a table and a couch in the room.Nice terrace to sit outside but under the roof.The hostel is not to big, so it is easier to get in contact with others (like a big family).The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is no in the city centre, but it is just a 10-15min walk to nice bars and clubs to go out.Some of the showers had just hot water.

Of hundreds, this is one of the best run hostels I’ve stayed. It’s organized and very clean. WiFi works great for Zoom meetings.

Outside area is smoky, so I avoided it.

there are automatic tap in the bathroom which is cannot control the temperature of the water sometime it really hot so can't use for brush the teeth

Excellent location, just one block from the Blue CAT stop. Very friendly and helpful welcome, carrying my bag up for me as I have mobility disabilities. 4-bed female dorm excellent - very clean and sheets changed every 2 days, large luggage storage boxes for each bed. Shower facilities kept immaculately clean (cleaned 4x per day apparently), showers water hot and strong. Kitchen area very clean and large,, individual storage boxes for dry foods, very large fridges and freezers available. Lounge area attached - huge sofas and padded benches to use - never crowded. Outside area under cover has benches and tables. Air conditioning or fans keeps the inside lovely and cool. Overall a fabulous place to stay and highly recommended

The hostel is definitely the best hostel I have stayed in Perth! Very clean and comfortable, very nice staff members and just amazing vibes! The kitchen is very clean and great facilities the hostel is very well organised I loved my stay at spinners and will 100% be coming back again soon! The staff do an absolutely amazing job keeping it clean and tidy and looking after the place so well done to all the staff at spinners!

Had a short stay at this hostel and I love how organised everything is. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, food storage, and the living rooms. The staff at the reception are friendly and very helpful, the guy even helped to carry my luggage to the first floor (thank you!). The room has a decent size, every bed comes with a storage area and locker on the sides, and it's own set of power plugs. The female room and bathrooms are clean, well taken care of, and there's also complimentary body wash in the showers and hair dryer. The kitchen has all the essentials, great for preparing meals, and even has a coffeemaker. There's plenty of space to sit and chill, everyone is so respectful. The wi-fi works well and the location is also good; easy to navigate if you're using the bus, it's only just one ride away from Perth station/airport line. For Muslims, the hostel is also about 300m from the mosque for a quick visit or prayers.
