i really enjoyed the room and the pool area was immaculate, so clean and smelling nice. very comfortable i didn’t want to leave!

there isn’t much i can say! only one rude staff but other than that i liked everything

Over $500 a night and parking and breakfast not included and very expensive We were told at check in breakfast was included and then going to breakfast we were told it wasn’t.

The staff were wonderful, & even upgraded our room as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Room was large, had a fabulous ensuite & an amazing view. Pool was stunning.

The lobby/lift area has an off-putting smell and most touch points were grubby. The room needed a good vacuum. The console in the room was dusty. The furniture has clearly seen better days. The outer powerpoints next to the bed didn’t work. Also, the miserly miniature bottles of water for the room - not replenished each day. When you’re spending ~$600 a night, it’s disappointing.

Old and dated rooms where they don’t clean your room everyday & you have to ask for toilet paper for example.

Lovely comfortable room and fantastic spacious bathroom. I loved the glass lifts between floors and the sunsails above the large bar and lobby area. There were lots of choices for eating out, which were a bit pricey but the food was always very good. Reception staff were very helpful and the pool area was great for relaxing in.

The air conditioning in the room was turned on a bit too high for me so the room was very cool, and it was difficult and impossible at times to turn it off.

Staff at check in were amazing. We were early and expecting to be placing the bags in the luggage store. Surprised to learn the check in clerk found us a room to check in to early.

Pool prices for food are exorbitant… $36 for a club sandwich is up there…

Nothing didn't stay end up booking accommodation else where. Walked into to the room and walked out. Not worth rating.

Rooms, carpet, bedside table dirty. Bed base covers had semen stains on them. Bathroom shower had mold

Was able to check in early, around 11.30am which was great as we had just checked out from another hotel and returned our hire car and we were checking out 8am following morning for our flight back home

Hello,I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a very unpleasant booking experience.I originally made a reservation for 8–9 February. However, the booking was incorrectly recorded as 6–7 February, which I did not book or authorise. As a result, I was marked as a no-show, only received a 50% refund, and then had to make a new reservation. This caused both financial loss and significant inconvenience.I am requesting a refund of $319, which was charged for dates I did not book.I have used Booking.com many times in the past without any issues, so this situation was extremely surprising and frustrating. What made the experience worse was the response I received afterward — the hotel advised me to contact Booking.com, while Booking.com directed me back to the hotel. This back-and-forth response felt dismissive and added to my frustration.I would appreciate this matter being reviewed properly and the incorrect charge refunded as soon as possible.Thank you for your attention to this issue. Our room on a lower floor, always a better stay when on a higher floor with a better view.

Have stayed at Crown approx 3 times per year since (Burswood days) 1987. There appears no appreciation of times of stays. I know we have Crown Rewards, but I've only had my card for last couple of years. No loyalty program. I use to have Burswood shares and there were wonderful perks... now everyone is treated as a 'money launderer' ... camera's, security guards, surly staff. Not warm and welcoming.

Friendly staff, nice grounds, comfy bed, good wine available.

Could not turn off the air conditioner. Could have used a lighter blanket. Food a bit expensive.

Would have been at least 20yrs since we last stayed at Metropolitan. Found property to be very nice and worth the revisit ZaZa at front desk was so nice and welcoming for our check in. Best check-in I’ve had in a long time. Sophie was so friendly and helpful with the pool area. Made me not want to leave.Carmen at the pool bar was a great bartender
