Hostel G Perth

Really well-located and spacious for a family of four (we had a four bed room with private bathroom). The communal areas were also great, with a welcoming vibe and perfect setup for different groups of travellers.

Nothing really - it was a really good spot that I would highly recommend. Just beware they will spam you with marketing emails!

The common area and room are both super clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable. Enjoy the vibe there.

It would be better to have soap in the toilet for washing my hands.

The room of 8 bed , too small and no enough place to put my stuff + plz too hard to sleep every moment door open and close because of number of guest in same room

The security at night, Ella and especially Francisco were very nice.

Would love to give a really good review to this place because some of the staff actually tried to make my stay better but the issue is this hostel has too much issues for the price you pay.The private rooms are very lack luster, the kitchen is ugly and was dirty a lot of the times.Some of the staff looked like they were making us a favor every time we talked to them.The vibe of the common rooms was very weird, a lot of people drinking too much a lot of the times.

It didn't bother me too much and it was mostly because of the roommates. But the room was quite dirty and messy.

If you're staying in a hostel, this one is perfect if you're trying to get rest. Not the most social hostel but I just needed something clean, safe and nice so this was perfect.

Well situated and easy access.

Kitchenette had too few cutlery and crockery items. Fridge space was limited and there was plenty of old and expired items in the fridge taking up space.

Close to the CBD, walking distance to many places like hay street mall, elizabeth quay and easy access to to Blue CAT bus

The hostel is clean and modern.

There’s no booking flexibility with the property. Additionally there are quite a few violent people who make their way into the hostel. They also rent dorms to juvenile groups. Meanwhile charging backpackers significantly higher prices than comparable shared accommodation in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel G Perth. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around the city. The facilities were always very clean and well maintained, which made me feel comfortable and safe. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for both solo travelers and groups. It also offers great value for money — definitely worth the price. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and I genuinely liked staying at this place. Highly recommended!

Basic to an extreme, outrageous low quality-price ratio... Incredible $170 for a couple twin beds in a small room without tissues, no decent hangers, no tv, no desk or chair, no lamp, even AC was not working

Sometimes can meet weird people in the common area but most are nice

I like the friendly 24/7 receptionist, the small cafe & bar inside, the clean-smelling room & bathroom (really spotless), the prompt room cleaning service (as requested), and the big fin oil heater provided aside from the heating aircon.

Neighbors are somewhat noisy whenever they open/close their doors during our stay. It echoes along the hallway and into our room. Also, I can hear someone "tapping" the wall from next room every night.

There is construction going on from dawn to dusk out back, and the neighbors sound like they're lifting weights till midnight. Needs curtains around Beds, then it would be better than every other hostel in Perth

Long-term residents take over and put their stuff everywhere so no one else has any room. -no privacy curtain-towel not provided (4 AUD to borrow) -you have to make your on bed on arrival and strip it when you leave. BATHROOM-only 1 bathroom for 8 people. You can't brush your teeth while someone else is showing, or drying their hair, for example.-no toilet cover. This is BAD. Unbeatable location, great people to meet in the hostel

The bed bunks are way too tall, the shelves by the side are way too narrow to put anything wider than a mobile phone or wallet. 4 people in 1 room doesn't give us enough space to unpack our stuff anyways
