Surf Beach Motel Coffs

The beds were extremely soft and comfortable. Aircon was super cold and worked perfectly, the staff in reception couldn't have been nicer, room was great value and the location was perfect.

There was no pool. I dont believe its advertised, but the photos do heavily imply a pool on the premises.

Lights at the bed head blew and sparks came out when turned on. Tripped the entire floor. Gentleman who came to fix was less then simpathetic stating that guest break them all the time.

Windows were dirty. Main door was a mess,, not very clean and had a peculiar covering on ii.

•The sheets on the bed had holes•There was no option of a second pillow and the ones that were there were flat like pancakes •The bathroom ceiling was rotting and mouldy•I felt sand in the bed and so did my husband •The cornices of the room were held on with screws•The parking was like sardines and you could only reverse out from your spot onto the street

The room was heavily infested with bed bugs and insects. At around 1:00am, due to the unsafe and unhygienic conditions, I had no choice but to take my wife and our 18-month-old son out of the room, and we spent the night in the car.In the morning, my son developed a fever, and at approximately 6:00am we drove back to Brisbane. This situation caused significant distress and concern for my family, particularly given my child’s age and health.

all good for the low cost, maybe the microwave could have been higher (it was low down where hard to read) but overall the facilities were much more than expected!

The bed was comfortable. It was handy to have a fridge and crockery and cutlery. It was quiet.

The fridge was turned off on my arrival into the room. There was that unpleasant cleaning product smell in the room. The air conditioner didn't seem to change temperatures, and it was in a position that was not great for sleeping. I'm glad we only had one night to stay there. I guess it is what it is, but the photos show a much nicer place than the room we had.

We booked through Surf Beach, and we were in the building next to it. I have to say it was amazing. 1 bedroom apartment, it had a kitchen/living/dining area, separate bathroom. A balcony looking out over the park. It was quiet for sleeping. It was clean. The kitchen utensils and appliances were clean. I really loved it, I wished I could have stayed longer. Then I found the pool....And Wow that was lovely too. A really well set up pool/lounge area, with plenty of grassy sections and beds. A great place.

Across road from beach, room looking onto road and park. Great beaches nearby. Clean, modern rooms.

Stairs up to the room. Bit noisy, could do with double glazed windows.

The location was perfect. Just a short walk away from the beach with plenty of parks and walkways. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The service was great, providing plenty of information.

The kitchen and bathroom both needed updating . The sounding neighbours were a little noisy.
