    • We really enjoyed the location, the facilities and access to beach, restaurants and entertainment. The resort was quiet and tranquil.

    Cons -

    • Small room but overall okay.
    • car park 5 is isolated, no wifi reception, rooms are too small and outdated, staff at reception especially the younger ones need to know how to smile it looks like they don't enjoy their job. the sliding gate is annoying and holes in the bath towels, architraves damaged, and you don't particularly feel safe. we were in 94a
    • Our bathroom had a glass ceiling and the sun shade had fallen down so the sun was beating in during the day which made the bathroom very hot. There was grout missing from around the spa which had created mold all around the edge. Cobwebs all inside the curtains and on the windows. We also spent from morning till night trying to call reception and every extension to enquire how late check in would work as we were getting there about 9:30pm. We ended ringing Accor hotels and they assured us someone would be there to assist till 9:30pm and if after that time they confirmed the steps for late check in. We arrived at 9:20pm and the desk was closed. But we would have been very unsure what to do if we had not called Accor themselves as no one had answered the phone to us all day. Would ring out and hand up. The games on the lawn for kids to use were missing bean bags and the ring toss rings were falling apart.

The natural setting, the cleanliness and the facility choices

We loved the pool and the rainforest feel. Staff very friendly and helpful

We were confused with what was included in the resort and what was public access, for example the outrigger and saltwater next to the resort

I was amazed at what a gem of location it was. The room was very large. I only expected the usual hotel room set up. I wished that I had booked a longer stay. Bathroom has to be seen to be believed

I like to be able to watch TV in bed, so I think a 2nd tv would be appropriate. Also, Not everyone would be physically able to use the bath/shower because of the large steps to climb in and out.

Really cool place. It’s like being in Fiji. Staff was a little lack luster- not super friendly. It’s a little older place. The price was great - $120 a night was

the set up of the hotel was excellent, staff very friendly.food was very good, and we had oysters around the fire pit.then a nice meal in the dining room.

it was a bit confusing finding my room and i was just about futherest away from reception, had to walk back to get some milk.then i got lost on the way back to my room, lol.

Fantastic setting, really close to beach & town! The wildlife is a joy !!!

Plumbing noise, lack of luggage trolley, no rain protection from carpark to bure.

Beautiful garden surrounds, roomy and comfortable accommodation, great selection of activities, right next to a beach and bushwalk, beautiful pools and spa, night-time entertainment, numerous firepits, party lights, great restaurant and bar, good service.

I spent a long weekend there and I think the entertainment each night was a DJ. Live music on at least one night would have been good. The bed cover was a doona, which seems to be the case everywhere these days. I always find a doona too hot, but when I push it off I'm cold. I prefer a few layers of blankets so I can regulate my temperature better.Drinks were pricey.

    Renovated dinner beer garden excellent

No room service, can't take alcohol to rooms, rooms very outdated, no tv or air con in bedroom, outside air conditioning units very noisy when trying to sleep. No acess to vending machine.

Loved the quality food in the restaurant. The environment was beautiful, the facilities modern and resorty.

It rained, what can I say?

Location, amenities, resort feel, gardens, cleanliness of resort

Excessive mould in main bathroom (red, pink, yellow in colour),Broken recliner.Broken aircon in main bedroom - the slats were clunking against each other causing loud noise.Uncomfortable three seater lounge - frame was broken I think. No heating in living area. There was a small IXL mounted on the wall which did not work. We were forced to go to bed to get warm.Deadbolt on sliding glass door was broken.

Very close to beach, the Bed was comfortable and utensils and microwave available for reheating takeaways. Security quite good with locked parking and locked gates.

Rooms and bathroom a bit old with shower in bathtub a bit congested.

Wonderful grounds to wander, great common restaurants in lovely settings, and close to beach

    5CooperPosted on: 4-28-2025

The location , everything about the room and staff was perfect But there was a few bad things ….

Tryed using the toaster they supply only to take out of the cupboard to have urine Leak out of it all over the bench Went to put clothes and accessories in the cabinet under the tv only to find rubbish in the drawers When you spend that kind of money finding these things is quite disappointing Especially when no refund or anything has been offered

The location was amazing. Restaurants/bar and food were excellent

Rooms were a little dated. TV didn’t work

The location and the staff were lovely.

The room was very musty and although we had requested twin beds, were given a double. The girl at the reception blamed Booking.com’s lack of communication for this error. Due to public holiday, they were busy and reception did not answer phone. Wifi connection was dislodged in room so we could not long onto the Internet despite a dozen attempts. The food at the Aanuka Beach House (an independent operator) was luke warm. They also did not answer the phone to take booking.

    Check in was ok

The accommodation, our room was not inside the resort and required us to enter the resort via a locked gate. Our room was on the main access road to a beach with meant light traffic at night and heavy traffic in the morning. While this sounds ok travelling with a 5 month old who is a light sleeper meant that we didnt get any sleep at all. Twice I requested to discuss moving rooms to be told the management will contact you and the call never came. The staff gaslighted my family and I. To make matters worse entering the room felt like entering a public toilet and we had the cockroach experience you would expect to occur, yes my partner had to "relocate" a cockroach. To really add salt to the wounds on the last morning after another night with no sleep the front desk called at 10:30 to check that we hadnt forgotten to check out. No we were simply trying to pack and deal with a tired/unhappy baby. I would not recommend this resort for anyone who thinks customer service is a priority.

Great location, right on the beach. Has everything there in walking distance, pools were great for the kids. Restaurant had amazing food and the atmosphere at night was nice and relaxing.

We didn’t get a sofa bed in our room when we had booked one.
