Bosuns Inn Motel

Location slightly.

1) There was insufficient off street PARKING vs the amount of ROOMS. I did NOT like parking my vehicle on the main road! 2) Awkward tv location. (Not viewable from the Queen Bed.) 3) Main curtain did not cover window properly. Overpriced in my opinion.

Bosuns was just what we needed as a base to explore Coffs Harbour. It was comfortable if basic, and the kitchen well-equipped and clean. The bathroom was more than adequate with a good shower. Wi-Fi worked well and we booked a room with secure on-site parking. The pool is small, but the beach is very close by, just a minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and check in was easy. There is a bus to the centre of town close by, and a daily ticket cost 5 Aus dollars.

The accommodation is straightforward and no frills as befits a motel. Check out time of 10am may be on the early side for some!

The receptionist is lovely. We asked if we could extend our departure time as our kids were running late , and without hesitation she gave us 30mins extra

Nothing.. although the pool could do with a good cleanup

Venus on reception made me feel welcome immediately. The room was spotless with everything I needed. The surrounds are all very well looked after.

Small motel - Comfortable, clean, quiet (brick walls between units and in a quiet street), heavy curtains that blocked out all light, good tv, well equipped with all you’d need, small clean swimming pool, off street parking. Lovely owner. Information folder including restaurants etc (you don’t see that much these days). Located across road from beach, next door to small service station with convenience store and close to bowling club, cafes and restaurants.

The staff were friendly and the facilities were great. The place was very clean.

The other guests staying were very rude and inconsiderate. Their children were running up and down on the verandah, screaming and yelling.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean. The motel is close to cafes, the Hoey Moey and the Bowling Club. The beach is just across the road. It was a very pleasant experience.

Well-priced and clean accommodation. Travelled for a sporting weekend, staff communicated excellently in the lead up and made arrangements for us to check in late.

Great service, so friendly. Excellent location to the beach and restaurants etc. Nice size rooms. Only criticism and it's a personal one is the bed and pillows were too firm but I would definitely stay again and recommend this to anyone!

We stayed here to break up a trip from Canberra to Brisbane. Very friendly welcome. Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Toaster, kettle, microwave, crockery and cutlery provided. Located just across the street from the beach. Very happy with our stay at this property.

Great location, opposite the beach. Easy walk to cafes , clubs and pubs

I liked the friendly service, and that there was a screen door on the motel room, and the solid brick construction. It was quiet and the air conditioner worked well. The fridge was big. Everything was clean and tidy.

The facilities are basic and the bathroom was a little cramped, but quite acceptable for a short stay. The pool had some leaves in it which made me not want to take a swim.
