Cleanliness

Great central location, great value for money. Clean, comfortable and the team were extremely welcoming and helpful.

The Queen bed was comfortable

Towels were “clean” had an awful odour (sour), several lights that didn’t work, toilet cistern didn’t refill immediately after every flush, shower nozzle dripped, other guests screaming during the night.

The motel staff are both friendly & efficient, especially the managers, Jess & Josh, who went out of their way to accommodate us during our three week stay & convalescence in Coffs. They juggled their room allocations around to fit us in & no request was ever too much trouble. Same same the cleaning staff. The Chelsea is in a prime location, so convenient to the CBD and entertainment venues.

The motel is well-aged, but the current managers are keen to & involved in improving its appearance & facilities. Good on them.

From the tune I met the receptionist to the time I said goodbye, nothing but good!I was concerned about it being on the highway, but I had no disturbance whatever. I won't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to anyone who wants clean, quiet decent accommodation with free parking at the door for a very economical price (I am a pensioner).

The property is centrally located and has close by amenities.

The washroom had broken and leaky shower. The aircon was making weird noise. A lot of noise from parking area as well. Cigarette butts all over the place outside the room.

Staff were awesome, I left something behind and they were so helpful to get it to me. Also a Good location as we were just passing through, close to the pub for a meal

Room had great facilities and was in ideal location for shops and bars. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Honestly can’t fault it. You get what you pay for and we just needed a night as a stop over. Dog friendly, clean, functional, what more do you want..

Not much you really just get what you pay for it’s not Hilton price so it’s not the Hilton, but it’s perfectly suitable for a quick stop in a good location.

Location was great, staff were great. Had an issue with a/c but was unexpectedly refunded a portion of the nightly rate to compensate.

Good location close to restaurants, club and shopping centre.Good size room. All neat and clean.Close to parks for walking the dogs.

Motel is on the highway so noise from the many trucks a little disturbing.

The floor felt unclean, the mattress on the double bed felt like it had holes in it, there were no cleaning cloths, the soap holder in the shower was broken and a safety hazard, the smoke alarm was not connected, there were no power points next to the beds. The benefit of being in a good location was almost cancelled out by the incredibly loud main road

This property needs a complete upgrade as mentioned in other reviews. We found that the heating system didn’t work properly, the filters probably haven’t been cleaned since new. The carpet was filthy and completely rotten where it had been exposed to sun and/or moisture near the window. We didn’t use the shower because of the state of the place, definitely not worth the $150/night charged.

Some where cheap to lay our heads for a night while travelling. Great Chinese Restaurant next door.

Room air-conditioning smelled highly of cigarette smoke, door security latch was broken and a huge unemptied ash tray outside our door really stank.

Noise at night, police arrived at 2.30am. No room service, one teaspoon. TV was very hard to turn off. The whole motel needs a refurbishment and I paid top $$$ for 3 nights. Only positive point was location. Very overprice for a very run down accommodation.
