Bentleigh Motor Inn - Coffs Harbour

Looks like it had been recently renovated so was clean and fresh

Smart TV not very friendly to operate.Trip hazards with new tiles as raised above carpet.

The rooms were adequately sized and the bed was comfortable. Shower was good, once you worked out which tap was hot and cold. I could park my car under cover. The room had windows you could open, however the noise from the street made that not a good option.

Booking acknowledgement message was not friendly or welcoming in any way. Just laid down the law about misbehaviour. Likewise, check in at reception was not particularly friendly or welcoming. We would have liked to sleep without the air conditioning on but the noise from the street was excessive to try and sleep with an open window. There was no where to place your bags, other than on the floor or the bed. Similarly, there is no useable shelf space in the bathroom.

Good location, very central. The staff were wonderful. Super helpful that we were given lots of milk each day for coffees and teas. Room was clean and tidy, we only stayed in there to sleep and one night stayed in to balance the bank account - still super comfortable.

Smoking area was under our room so it wafted every so often up to us. As it’s so close to the highway, we heard alot of road noise and trucks, but it was a good trade off for being such a central and easily accessible location.

Quiet, clean, lovely and comfortable

Easy check in and good parking. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants but a short drive to the sea. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Useful to have the kitchenette with plates and fridge etc.

It was slightly expensive for similar places we stayed on the east coast.

I didn't like all the road noise

Location was central to shops, restaurants and the access to the pub next door. And it wasn't far from the Big Banana that my friend wanted to see.

Pressure of the shower in the lower room (4) was appalling! Very little pressure or water.

Check in after hours was easy, room was clean and comfortable, luffy towels and everything you need. Parking off road was good.

It's right on the highway so the truck noise all night was a bit frustrating. Maybe if yourequest3d a room at the back it maybe quieter.

Although the motor inn looked a bit old the room was actually quite modern, very clean and well appointed. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. Would recommend this place.

If the window isn’t closed it is a bit nosy.

The bathroom was clean.

We stayed in a two-bedroom room and noticed a few issues that affected our stay. The second bedroom did not have a fan, the TV screen was very small and mounted too high on the wall, and the car park space was too narrow for larger vehicles such as a Pajero to park fully. We hope these can be improved for future guests.

Nothing to fault for a quick family stopover on the way up the coast. Clean, comfortable and spacious.
