In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. A damage deposit of AUD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that there is a 1.6% surcharge when you pay with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card. Please note that The Island does not accept cash as a form of payment. All guests must present a valid credit card and photo id on arrival at the hotel to check in. An AUD 100 per night pre-authorization will be held for incidental charges. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian, Over the Schoolies weeks held annually on the Gold Coast, 21yrs is the minimum age of check in. Please note that this property has a strict 'No Party Policy'. We do not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual "Schoolies Week" period. We do not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period. We reserve the right to refuse entry to guests who are school leavers.
