Staff knowledge of the city

The cleanliness of the hotel room was horrible. Carpets were stained, chewed gum was in the carpet, walls were damaged, and the bathroom towel that was “clean” had a massive brown stain on it.

Easy to access and use, helpful staff

Remote parking was a bit inconvenient for me having to drive to many remote business meetings

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Convenient location. Surprisingly quiet considering its on City Road. Friendly and efficient staff. The Nespresso coffee machine.

The bathroom (which was open-plan onto bedroom) smelled of drains, so the whole room was unpleasant smelling. Internal facing room. Expensive for a basic room.

The location, central to the places we needed to go.

Room wasn't clean, blind wouldn't open, room felt dark and dungeon like and the staff were extremely rude.

It is quite quirky and the staff were very friendly

A fight broke out outside our room on the first evening of our stay which made me feel very uncomfortable. This was obviously not the hotels fault.

Pleasant hotel, room full of amenities and good location.

Hotel partnerships with Wilson car parks for cheaper parking. But there are so many Wilsons, 2 even on the road they direct you to. They do highlight the address but it is easy to go wrong. Would be good if they showed a map or a picture of the carpark to help guests navigate this!

The rooms were clean and quiet which was very important to us. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Bonus shout out to Josh the barman for making my birthday night as he was so friendly!

Had a nice 2-night stay. Room was clean and the staff was nice. Would recommend.

Although the room was clean the carpet could’ve used a rinse.

The location suited us as we had family nearby

Although the bed was comfortable it was not big enough for 2 people. We found ourselves nearly rolling off the bed.Also the room was very small and had a large concrete beam we needed to duck under

Dark room, comfortable bed, soundproof. Food shops close by.

Staff were lovely, great location, and comfortable bed! Would stay again!

Parking was a little far away and there wasn’t really a convenient place to pull up and get bags out of the car to check in - but considering we were only doing an overnight stay, it really wasnt too much of a problem. And to make it a little better, parking was only $25 for 24 hours - so that was great!

On South Bank, by river, close to all sights

Bed was very comfy! We stayed on level 10, there was absolutely no traffic noise up there which I am used to getting from other city stays, bonus was the coffee from downstairs was brilliant!

If I have to say one thing, the shower was a little tight getting in but okay once in.

Bathroom tiny but ok

The staff were absolutely incredible. We were there for over a week and they were so helpful throughout.

The bathroom in the room did not have a real door. It was frosted glass that was pretty much see through with a big gap at the top. I was staying with my dad and there was essentially no privacy when you wanted to go to the toilet. This is my only gripe with the place , everything else was perfect. I’ve attached photos so you can see the level of privacy afforded to guests.

The hotel was in a brilliant location as I had travelled to Melbourne to attend the Australian Open, so it was only a 20 minute walk to the tennis.

The breakfasts could have been slightly better as one day my breakfast was quite cold, however staff did seem extremely busy and run off their feet.
