Loved that they have 24 hour access to the pool and that the pool is adults only between certain hours.

We got charged for an adults game we didn’t use.

Amazing space, beautifully decorated and designed.

Check in was 3pm but we arrived at 4:30pm and we were told our room was being prepared. We had to wait until 5:40pm to receive a phone call to pick up the access card.The only compensation was 2 drink cards for the bar downstairs and a different room.

Mini bar is super expensive and not realistic at all. $20 for a bag of chips with 0.01% truffle is not really expectable. But this is just because i need to pick on something

The price of the room.

Location is good. Only 1 tram stop away from shops. Not as central as other hotels. Rooms are large. Bathroom is nice and there is a Japanese toilet which is a plus! Pool area is nice. Great steam room.

We booked a room that came with 2 Double (Full size) beds. Really? A 5 ? Star hotel with double beds? Not even Queen. 2 adults cannot share a double bed. Really disappointed as the rooms are big enough for 2 Queens. Also no separate door for shower which is weird and therefore not a lot of privacy if sharing the room with others. If you want privacy you’ll need to shut the whole bathroom off and therefore no one can use the sink or toilet. We went for a drink at the bar and there is zero atmosphere. Happy hour was ok but you’re sitting on a table and no lounge chairs to unwind. A bit too formal and stale.

Pool is great and a comfortable temperature with large televisions surrounding it, good for sporting events with a selection of areas to choose to relax in.

A bit on the expensive side but I guess you pay for what you get, I would definitely visit again.

As a return guest - I truly love the room I was situated in which was a corner room with a great view!

I burnt my leg in the communal steam room. The steam comes out at ankle high from two nozzles and it needs to be re-engineered or less steam because others will be burnt also!

The location was perfectly central, we could just walk up and down flinders lane for the restaurants and bars we researched ahead of time without realising it’s just on the same street. Going to Southbank, little Bourke and little Collins for shopping and is a quick 10 minute walk. Of course, W hotels always have modern and well designed edgy rooms and amenities.

We appreciate the thorough cleaning of our room during our 9-nights stay but for some reason, one of the nights we got back to the room, the way it was cleaned was different and not thoroughly done.

The service from the moment I stepped into the valet area, to the moment I left was impeccable. Every single staff member I encountered ( bar staff, wait staff, room service staff, front desk agents, valets and more ) were so friendly and kind. It was amazing. Nothing seemed too hard to ask.

The only bad thing, and it’s a stretch, was that the bath tub in my room was a little too small for me
