Nightcap at Waltzing Matilda Hotel

This hotel is excellent value for money. The rooms are spotless clean, the beds (one single and one double) are very comfortable with sufficient pillows .

Check in breakfast was quite generous.

Only one toilet for the whole apartment.Carpet was not vacuumed everyday.

F****** PISSED!!!

That i didn't get my $100 bond back due to a blanket that I didn't even use had holes in them,It was 37 degree weather come on.

The location, very close to the place where I need to go. Free car park. Close to the big playground (Burden Park). Have an indoor playground at the restaurant.

The bathroom, when you took a shower the water will be flowing out all over the floor.

Perfect for my family overseas, space. Just what i was looking for.

I paid for early check in coz my family came from nz on an early flight. But on recieving our room card and went to the room. They were still cleaning the room. So my family of 6 had to stand outside to wait.

Close to where we were going

Shower flooded, paint peeling of door and walls, mould in shower and under the sink. We think we saw people dealing out of a room and in carpark. Room smelt like smoke

Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean

Noisy people returning to their room at 1.15am making a noise and laughing for the next couple of hours

The bed is very comfortable and clean. The room is spacious and staff is quite friendly. Room service daily so it is quite clean.

As the bedroom is near the nightclub, it wasn't quiet at night, that a lot of people talking, which woke me up in the middle of the night.

The bed is comfy

The toilet door is broken and no much kitchen equipment. Especially the heaters has only 2 while the rooms are 4

Just a hotel room. If...

A car alarm went off for hours early in the morning that does not help my feelings about this hotel. Room did not feel secure. Bed was way too soft for me, but that is personal. Amenities are ok. Older style of hotel and it is showing wear. Busy location, it is a part of a pub. Manger and staff were friendly and welcoming.

I came to visit my friends for the weekend getaway and didn’t want to stay at their house as they have teenage children, so I got my accommodation at Waltzing. It’s so close to her house, and Springvale Asian market is within walking distance, and the train station is easy to get back to Southern Cross. The room was so nice and clean. I enjoyed my stay there, and this is my second time staying at Walzing.

Price was low if you stay longer.

While I was at work and I didn't like how treated my other half that also was charged for our room for another night.!? Knowing that I've paid for 6 days and in their Data and system, clearly stated that I am paid. But unfortunately my other half Give. Money to 1 of their staff and when I went at the front seat, they were not very cooperative. And also while I was at work again

Tv for Netflix didn’t work at all

As a smoker it was good there was a smoking area just outside. Room was kept clean, stock up on amenities & comfy beds also close to shops & transportation.

Just the bathroom layout abit small & close to each other but otherwise really good & clean

We had a private function in the Banksia room and were able to stay very comfortably overnight within minutes of the venue.
