Nightcap at Sandown Park Hotel

Every thing was clean and comfortable.

Would have liked a small table to sit at - not directly under the TV. I would have liked a small freezer compartment so I could freeze ice bricks that I needed for the next day.

The accomodation is more motel like than hotel. And you need to request a hair dryer to be sent to your room. The shower taps didn’t indicate which were hot and which were cold. Maybe this is obvious to others but the taps must have been super cheap to not simply have a red/blue dot on them.

Comfortable beds, quiet location. Restaurant very good.

The staff were very lovely and accommodating.The location is perfect and being able to have meals delivered to my room was excellent. The room is very nice, modern, clean and comfortable. The bed is fantastic!Free parking and the option to either have my room serviced or not was very handy.I am very happy and highly recommend staying here!

I'm from QLD, and the prices are a bit higher here than home. But that was my only minor negative for this place.

Beds moved too easily. They moved when we sat down on them. Rollers on the bottom could do with some locks.

The bed was quite comfortable.

The room was very basic and average value for the price. Needs a chair outside for smokers.

Bed & room was good & serviced every day with clean towels etc.Breakfast was not included but available in the hotel restaurant.Outside of motel needs some attention but rooms are good.Certainly not a 1st class hotel/motel complex but ok

room was clean and bed was comfortable. The restaurant was opened for lunch all day. Easy to find and was really close to the function we had to attend in the evening.

There was a little park near the hotel and people were walking quite close to your room which was uncomfortable. Could have some boxes of tissues in the bathroom.

Access to Hotel

Broken Hot Water handle in shower. Loose toilet seat that moved L to R each time. Needed adjustment

Have stayed here quite a few times and will continue to as it is very affordable and always very clean and comfortable

Could do with a few soft pillows

Great proximity to the cemetery-we had a funeral to attend.Amazingly comfortable beds!

Seemed very short staffed in the hotel-took time to check in and staff were literally running to try to juggle all they had to do. Good staff to have.

The room was tidy and well set out clean and comfortable . Bed was also very comfortable . Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The restaurant was exceptional staff and food very high standards and care . Keep up the great work .

I liked my stay and felt very welcomed and loved the restaurant. , good parking easy and convenient to get around to any part of town i wanted to adventure to . Would definitely recognise the hotel to family and friends .Thank you Sandown and staff . Fantastic staff .

Unfortunately, the bed was too soft, lumpy and sagged in the midde.
