The beds

Great shower and good size room. Neighbourhood was safe.

Car park was full on the saturday when an event was going on . Had to lug big suitcases up the stairs.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet night, a lot of parking next to my room.

A little soap or hand wash would be useful near the basin , in the bathroom

Great hot showers. We arrived at 2.30am and the reception/bar was still able to attend to us. Fresh towels. Had the basics ..hairdryer, iron, kettle. They had bottled water in the fridge. Bed was firm and pillows were very comfortable.

Parking was quite busy on the saturday as there was some event going on so beware..just need to park further away until the other guests have left. We had someone ordering dinner from the restaurant using our room number (possibly a mistake) but the hotel called my mobile to confirm which was good. Needed to climb 1 level of staircase with heavy suitcases...there are no lifts.

Large Room Plenty of space and comfortable beds. The best calamari I have ever eaten at the Restaurant and well priced.

Unfortunately we booked for the playground as we were travelling with a toddler, only to be told they took it out 12 months ago. Small Admin error of needing to update there booking.com listing

Noisy being close to major...

Lamb salad didn’t taste good, salad had too much dressing it was overpowering with balsamic. No one st reception when I went to check in had to make a phone call while I was waiting there as I count see any staff around.

Staff were very friendly and true to their word the kitchen was still open at 830 when we returned! The free drink was a fun bonus. The bed was super comfy and we could not hear the band from our room

Comfy bed, surprisingly quiet, clean. Good parking outside our door. It was good that we could just walk to the pub for dinner. Nice shower.

The room was a bit stuffy...just needed airing.

Initial checking Gen Z. SANITIZER squirted me and she didn’t even acknowledge it. Too busy with the keyboard.

Pretty much the facilities one would expect at the price point. Staff were quick to respond to issues, which was needed a few times

The power failed twice during my stay, eventually staying down all day as well as overnight in the second occasion. While staff were quick to respond and attempt to find solutions, there was no attempt to resolve the issue until the following day. The lack of contingency planning was a let down, especially considering staff was aware of ongoing issues with the power prior to the loss of power overnight. I hope management sees this as a learning opportunity to better prepare for such instances in the future.

Bed was comfy, pleasantly surprised to have Netflix on the TV. Room was spacious and clean - perfect for overnight stay for a work-related trip. Very convenient having a bistro so close (great food & service) and being able to make a cheeky visit to the bottle shop attached.

Split system might be due a service.. it was loud enough to drown out the visitors in the beer garden (for better or worse!) Would have liked hand soap in the bathroom (none provided, although I noted there were supplies in the shower)

The shower was perfect, I love strong water flow and a large shower head. Perfect after a long day at work.The bed was amazingly soft and the TV was good. Coffee and Tea supplies were not stingy, there was plenty and a couple of bottle of Water free. Complimentary beer in the pub and 10% off meals was welcomed.

A little noisy of a night being backed on to a pub and cleanliness was acceptable but could have been better.Checked in a 1.45 and given my Key, when I got to the room there was still the last person had just left so the room needed to be cleaned, not ideal. Had to spend an hour in the pub while it was cleaned for me.

The heater made a noise throughout the night. There was no extra pillows or blankets.

The music turned on in the outdoor bar at 1am and went until we left at 9:30am

Great amenities. Very clean and comfortable and good location

Exceptionally comfortable beds. Clean. Staff very friendly. Great meals and entertainment.
