Pleasant view over the gardensQuiet rooms . Good shower and water pressure
Stayed for three nights but room only made up once. It would have been nice both days.
Location, staff and it’s been the second time I’ve stayed at this property and it’s been excellent both times
Reception was so welcoming, check in super simple and we were on our way to our room within minutes of entering. Felt very secure and comfortable in room, couldn't hear anyone in neighbouring rooms. Facilities exceeded expectations, from the TV to the Shower, the oh so comfortable bed, large storage cupboard and plenty of space throughout the whole room.
Leaving! Wish we booked more nights, couldn't fault a single thing. Will definitely be back again soon.
Location, clean and staff were helpful and freindly
Toilet had a few issues, tiles in the bathroom were not great
Decent breakfast for western standard. Better than average. Good coffee (machine).Service staff at breakfast restaurant very helpful and friendly.
Don't hit the trap! This hotel is engulfed by high rises and the lowest building. The only view you will get is a park view. So if you are looking for a view this is not your place.Hotel staff very unflexible when it came to this view discussion. I have stayed at more customer friendly places.Cleanliness of the room is another issue.
Great location easy walk to everything yet quiet and super comfy beds!
Location, view over the park, large room and bathroom, friendly staff, good breakfast, good deal with accommodation and breakfast on booking.com.
The room was cold and I could not alter the air con temp from 19.5 degrees. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned on arrival as there was a large amount of dust and even some rubbish under the bed and furniture. This was done. The hotel was booked around 10 months in advance of my stay when it was a Radisson. I was informed just before my stay that it was no longer a Radisson. The 24 hr room service was no longer available, 1 hour later check in, 1 hour earlier check out. The hotel is tired but is having a renovation in March.
We stay here often as we always enjoy friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms and close to trains and trams
Nothing really. We are very pleased with this accomodation
The room was super spacious for us to prepare for our evening without being in each other's space. The breakfast buffet was delish and the restaurant felt luxurious. The restaurant view of the park and surrounding trees was what made it for us, we felt more grounded in preparation for our day ahead.
Nice location short walk to victoria markets..
68 dollars valae parking was a bit much..but it is the way to go as there is no parking near that is free..
A beautiful building in an extremely convenient location. Easy access to the entire CBD and beyond. Room had great views of the gardens and was clean and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made our stay so comfortable. Breakfast had a lovely selection and tasted great!
The convenience and the rates
Check in time being 3 pm when most hotels allow you to checkin by 12 pm. And it's mindblowing that they have the rooms ready for early chein at an extra rate of checking in early ( which is after 12 pmnand before 3pm)
The location was quite good, as it's within easy walking distance to Queen Victoria market, Flagstaff train station and tram stop, and to coffee shops and eateries. Some of the staff were nice, especially Jaspreet at the reception counter, Romy at the breakfast place and the girl from UK at the reception place.
The checking-in process was an unpleasant experience as the hotel did not seem to have a record of my chats with them, which had details of the agreed prices and other terms of our stay. The receptionist told us their systems are being upgraded and hence the glitch. At breakfast, we were repeatedly asked to pay for the third person when in fact we had already paid for it. The breakfast spread also did not change during our four-day stay, and offered very limited options for vegetarians. The two phones in my room did not work throughout our stay, and the hotel could not fix it. The room-cleaning was not up to the mark on some of the days. We also had to ask for coffee replenishments on more than one occasion.
Rooms clean. Helpful staff. Good location
Received email in October to confirm. The accept cash in a areas of hotel. Day before arrival told now only cashless . So We could not use their bar or restaurant . Too short notice to get a travel card
Location and helpful staff
Getting a bit “weary” but I believe renovations are planned
Great location, near tram and train station, value was good enough esp during AO season
Housekeeping - barely cleaned our room. Only changed the towels and emptied the trash bins. It was very dusty throughout our stayWe were in the room one time when they were cleaning and we noted that they just put the pillows on the floor when they made the bed. Very unsanitary.
Perfectly serviceable hotel in central location with spacious rooms. Provided good and (relatively speaking) reasonable value accomodation during a busy period in Melbourne.
The interior was a little tired looking
