BIG4 Melbourne Holiday Park

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we travel down with the kids again. Plenty to do for the kids. Was relaxing but also fun. Surprisingly quiet even though it was packed full.

Nothing major. The odd repair needed from usual wear and tear but overall was fine.

Great choice of accommodation for families. Pool, play room and play ground facilities fantastic.

Limited public transport if you don't have use of a private vehicle homely family getaway

Spa and pool was great for kids as always.

Didn't appear to have a smart tv so couldn't connect to Netflix.

Cabin for 5 people - very comfortable. Main bed was excellent - usually have a bad night's sleep away from home but it was super comfy. Kids could play at the park whilst we got ready, we didn't use the pool because it was too cold but looked clean and fun. We accidentally left behind a football and the staff were amazing at finding it and getting it back to us after we had left.

No shampoo or conditioner or mini toiletries which was odd considering how expensive it was

The kids loved it and they were easily entertained, the location was great and next to no traffic noise. Highly recommended place to stay we will stay again if we are coming to Melbourne

We were happy with nearly the whole stay we just had a noise complaint against us which I understand but trying to explain to the staff my wife has Tourettes was not acknowledged and was told just to keep are heated arguments a bit quieter. We do apologise for the noise but unfortunately some days nothing can be done about it.

I like they had a pool, spa, playground and all the other facilities really. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nick was great at helping me change my booking, thank you.The complimentary milk was great, a bit more generous than other places I've been to.

Only a few minor suggestions/ dislikes.I think the cost for a night was a bit pricey, perhaps because it's Melb, and close to the CBD?! For the price we paid,I would have at least thought they'd provide some mini shampoo/ conditioner!! ( so note: BYO, your own shampoo/ conditioner)Other thing I don't like as much (it's not just at this park though) is the caravans and tents being so close to the cabins.The caravans weren't as bad, but we did have some tent a few metres from our kitchen windows.I just wish they all had their own sections personally.

The room has so many lights, the tv light, internet light, microwave etc I had to unplug everything so I could sleep at night.

Activities for the kids. Very clean, friendly staff and other customers also. Feels like a very safe place and quiet at the right times.

I don’t find the beds very comfortable, they’re too hard. It’s my only issue and wish they were softer for a more comfortable sleep.

I love the villa we stayed in. The lounge room was spacious, the kitchen had common kitchen tools, full sized fridge. Seperate toilet was great. The pool was perfect for toddlers and bigger kids. Games room was fun! There was heaps of other things to do within the park. The park was very busy on our stay but surprisingly we didn’t hear any noise during the night.

On arrival it was a very hot day and when we got to our villa is was very very hot inside and it took a while to cool down. It would be a nice touch to get someone to turn the aircon on before arrival on hot days to cool down. The fan in the room with bunks didn’t work. Shower drain took too long to drain with flooded the bathroom. The playground had no shade.

The pool is good for small kids under 10 only. Nice SPA.

The room, the bed was horrible the pictures made things look bigger than what it was. Partner is tall big guy and was hard to get around with the very little room
