Pullman Melbourne City Centre

Didn't have breakfast. Disappointed there was no coffee shop. I found the bed very uncomfortable. Every time I turned over my bones ached. The bed was so hard.

Location was great. The gym was better than expected at a standard hotel.

The bathroom was on the small side and needs renovation. Our door to the room kept getting stuck.

Great stay! The location was excellent with everything close by and easy to access. The gym was a standout — fully equipped and much better than most hotel gyms. Despite being central, the room was very quiet and made for a comfortable stay.

A couple of things to note: the hotel required an extra nightly deposit of $100 per night due to using Apple Pay. As a returning guest this felt a bit excessive. The room also had two queen beds but only two towel hooks, which made it difficult to reuse towels as we were short of places to dry them. There were also only two glasses provided, so the room didn’t feel set up for the number of guests it was intended to accommodate.

Great location

There was 1 porter that absolutely stank! Like horrendous…we were both gagging and the lift still stank after 10mins when we went back down. Also only 2 choices for room service…lagsana or toasted sandwich

Little things. The slippers provided were dirty, the water tap on our floor wasn't working and wasn't fixed despite me calling about it twice, had to shove a towel against the gap under the door as there was a whistling sound coming from it, shower pressure not great.

The beds were comfy and the room was spacious. Staff very helpful in taking up bags. Nice lobby and Blossoms was very cute. Close to everything and lots of shops and eateries nearby.

Views aren't much even if you request a room with a view. Shampoo bottles needed to be refilled.

Water works were happening and no water for 6 hours. Key didn’t work for the gym and had to fix twice. Booked sauna and again room key didn’t work for it.

Good location but very noisy on streets and could hear neighbours next door and in rooms above

Noisy location. Could hear people next door and in rooms above. This was throughout the night as people appeared to slam doors shut as they returned to their rooms. Could also hear constant noise from streets below, don't believe windows had double glazing. Was on 13th floor. Maybe less noticeable on higher floors?Would also have appreciated some hotel stationery and a pen which is generally a standard at most hotels.

Exceptional staff, every single one that we came into contact with was friendly, welcoming and genuine. Special mention to the woman who checked us in on 31 Dec, fabulous service, could not do more for us. Excellent position, very clean and comfortable, will def be back

Last time I booked a Luxury Escape and the room was much larger than this time.

Room was nice and comfortable

Staff were unhelpful when I had an emergency and was stranded in Melbourne. Duty manager was supposed to call me straight back as I had a funeral to attend and could not retrieve my car. I never received a phone call. I could still be stuck there for all they care..

We enjoyed our stay but it was specifically a work event. The hotel location is fantastic and the room was better than average but could be a little less cramped at the window end i.e. a couch and then a small table with only one chair. we would prefer a larger table with more chairs because the couch cramped everything up.

The shower was good, the bed was a good size and reasonably comfortable and the aircon was functional. The fridge was too small. Access to the room was good. The reception and valet staff were fantastic, they were impressive. Valet parking service was also very impressive.

Bed very high, l am not very tall and have mobility issues. I found it very difficult to get into to.

Room was spacious and clean, I liked that the window opened, bed was large and comfortable.

Everything was good until breakfast the following day (Sunday) there appeared to be only 2 staff on and people were asking for their coffee in takeaway cups because it was taking so long. I had trouble finding a staff member and then it was all taking too long so we gave up and went elsewhere.

The location is great. The rooms are comfortable.

I asked for a quiet room away from the lifts. Didn’t get one. The car parking is a joke due to construction work - ok construction work maybe not their fault but their solution to charge you $ to park your car isn’t really a solution… and the rooftop bar food really was not nice - raw zucchini with cooked prawn pizza.
