Park Hyatt Melbourne

Staff made us feel very welcome and even the daily cleaners were nice to talk to briefly. Lots of great amenities available too! Greatly appreciated the fact that we were able to leave our bags with concierge before check in and after we had check out so that we could make the most of our time in the Melbourne CBD. Definitely worth the price and even though it’s a bit of a walk to get to the main shops etc, I’d still highly recommend. It was nice to not be in so much of the hustle bustle of people but still be a close enough walk to everything.

Our stay was excellent and exceeded our expectations! My wife-to-be and i had booked a deluxe king room, and when booking i asked if there was any little surprise they could provide for our first night as husband and wife. We ended up being upgraded to an amazing suite and had champagne and a delightful waiting for us. It was a delightful surprise and above and beyond what i could have expected! Extremely greatful!

My only suggestion would be to provide firmer pillows for better neck support.

Lovely hotel, truly 5 stars, very quiet location even if you 5 minutes walk from the city center.Rooms are large and with all the commodities of a Park Hyatt.

Nothing. The only reason I don’t give 10 is because I believe that the Staff at the reception or door good be better, rarely a good morning or a smile.

Front Desk Staff, Mariah was very welcoming, Toby at Concierge was very attentive to parking our car.Our room was large and beautifully laid out and beds were so comfortable.Breakfast was a real treat, staff very attentive and huge range of breakfast options, Myrna was very engaging and made us not want to leave.

Location excellent.

Bed was old and uncomfortable. It surprised me that the rooms looked tired.

For some reason the concierge arranged a Silver Top taxi which was pretty average

Good location and beautiful building

Staff were very rude and judgmental. I made a complaint about the noise coming from the room next to mine as I was given a room with a door in between. Staff did not care and were not bothered. They told me that there is nothing they can do given I was awake all night I think this is horrible.

Ordered room service for breakfast. Staff member pleasant but would have appreciated breakfast to be laid out.No suitable height chairs to sit in especially for elderly mother to enjoy breakfast. Rooms looking a bit tired and lighting in bathroom could be improved.

Breakfast was amazing! So fresh and very well placed. The fruit was so yummy. The pool was so fun, my daughter enjoyed it twice a day! Staff was so friendly.

Noisy aircon unit on top floor, was noticeable in the room, but staff moved us to another room next night.

The room was huge and very comfortable!

The entire experience was incredible. I highly recommend The Park Hyatt. I loved being next to the Cathedral and such a central location. Everyone was super friendly. Food was great. Drinks were too.

There was an extra charge for a rollout, perhaps that may have been accommodated given the level we used all amenity available. Unfortunately I snore and my partner needed a break. We didn't use the WiFi because of the unsecure channel

The staff were all so lovely & helpful. The room was just as pictured. The pool was fantastic with an actually HOT spa. And I'm still crazing another room service turkey panini.Also, this hotel has some of the comfiest beds I've ever found in a hotel. I have multiple chronic pain conditions, so this is huge for me.

The location is amazing

Bed was springy and uncomfortable for a $1200 per night suite. Stayed two nights. Dogs walking around foyer and in lobby coffee lounge. Some on lead, some not. Shaving pack was empty.

It was our second time staying and once again it didn't disappoint, the staff are incredible, rooms amazing and clean. 11/10

The location, breakfast menu, gym and spa facilitues werer alll oerfect.rhe room waa also of a high quality.

The room was too warm at night .having the ability to lower the room temp to say 17 degrees to help sleeping ocernight woukd be preferred. That is the only suggestiion

Loved the location, close to parks & gardens but also a short walk into the centre of Melbourne. Staff were friendly and helpful.Will definitely be back!

Not a single complaint!

The room size was exceptional along with the amenities, service, room service and all round incredible experience. We can't wait to come back and make it an annual trip.
