Loved the location and vibe. Decor was very cool

The blackout blinds in our room had a large gap due to the motor resulting in bright lights coming through to our pillows.

Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The sensors in the room went off all night while we were sleeping and the pillows were too thick, sheets all got messed up from not being fitted.

We really love loved the stunning decor.. very cute LA boutique vintage style. The roof top was stunning for breakfast.

Location is perfect, so close to everything Melbourne CBD has to offer. Room was nice, well decorated and beds comfy.

The bathroom layout is weird (twin room) and no real soundproofing from the corridor. And forget about grabbing a drink at Cleo without a reservation, even though the website says they only take a limited number of reservations. Staff were not helpful at all

Very clean and sleek colour design of the rooms. The rooms blocked out a lot of the sound from the street. But some sound can be heard from the hotel in either the function room or other rooms joining. But overall, great space for a comfortable stay. The staff were accommodating.

We stayed in the accessibility room and it could be improved for further accessibility usage. The carpet under the bed isn't the most accessible to get around with a wheel chair. Also, you can still have a door to the bathroom and make it accessible. The fact there was no door to close off the bathroom and toilet, didn't leave much privacy. There was also only one comfortable chair that swiveled. This would make it difficult for anyone hoping from wheelchair to chair. It also didn't provide another comfortable chair for someone else staying in the same facility. It would be great to have an option to link your phone to the tv google chrome to watch things off - the staff were uncertain about how to assist with this.

Such a lovely hotel, quiet, the rooms are moody and have everything you need.

I liked the style of the room; it was simple yet had everything you need. The shower was large which I loved, and it was easy to adjust the blinds and light systems in close reach of the bed.

It would be perfect if there were a pool or sauna.

Could do with an update to smart TV's. Much more user friendly than trying to cast. It would be good to have some more gluten free options on the breakfast ..

Location was amazing. Hotel had a beautiful aesthetic. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the robes and the pillows.

Noise in room. Not soundproof. Cleaning could have been better. Dusty, floor not vacuumed enough, old toothpaste in toothbrush holder. Overpriced for small sized room.

Hyde is a beautiful hotel with great on-site dining options and is in a great location. Would recommend staying and will definitely be back.

We liked the ambience and the architecture of the building

It is not listed on bookings that there is a $100 room deposit and a 1.7% surcharge was also no toothbrush or past and had to call up to get some there was also a wedding reception being held at the hotel that went till1am that was vibrating through the whole hotel and as a result we could not relax and sleep at all we where moved from our room on the 2nd floor to the 5th floor but it did not resolve the noise or the vibration from the party and it dose say on bookings that thay do not allow parties this was not acceptable thay did adjust our price however I believe we should of been refunded our stay as we definitely did not get a relaxing stay at a hotel that states thay are 5 star we where extremely disappointed

Street noise but is to be expected in a hotel in the central entertainment area of Melbourne.

The staff at the rooftop restatrant didn't feel welcoming.

The staff on the front desk were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, the free mini bar was a great touch. Shower, toilet and bed were clean. The location was great. We will definitely stay here again!

There was some dust in the room, especially noticeable due to the down lights but did not deter from our stay.

Couldn’t recommend The Hyde more! Kye and the team go above and beyond to make your stay super enjoyable.Amazing energy, stunning rooms, lush bedding, and even free minibar treats. Loved it so much I rebooked for my next Melbourne trip. If you’re thinking about staying here go for it!
