Pros +
- Excellent location, very grand hotel. The attached entertainment precinct is huge with plenty of dining and entertainment options for the whole family. It rained quite heavily in the afternoon and it was great to not have to go outside.
- Location, room size and pool.
- I have a back injury and need soft beds, these were the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. Highly recommend. TV over bath was great! View was fantastic.
Cons -
- The shower smelt a bit musty and the toilet paper was super thin which was surprising for a hotel of this calibre. Also at one point someone in an adjoining room kept opening and closing their door and it was slamming shut which was quite loud in our room. Thankfully it wasn't in the middle of the night but being in a casino hotel this could be an issue. Other hotels at this level seem to have better soundproofing for that.
- Staff weren't that friendly to be honest. I was expecting more.
- Rooms service options for coeliac were not good. Valet parking took over 20 minutes to bring car after check out.

It’s very nicely done. Staff are friendly. Beds comfy. Great views.
Not that we were in the room much but when we were we tried having the tv on, everything had to be paid for. There should atleast be be free to air for people
I liked the customer service
Prices very expensive and no complementary gift or anything at the room
Luxurious Accomodation and Beautiful presentation. Staff were very attentive and accomodating
The room was VERY warm and was unable to be called. This made sleeping difficult despite the comfortable bed. Requested high floor and was placed on Level 4.
Just ok
Reported a leak in toilet and this was ignored. No hairdryer in the room
Loved the vibrant lobby and the cosy rooms. Staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble when you asked for help
Clean well situated
Lack of signage that valet parking had closed. We waited 20mins & no one took the car so I had to call the hotel. Unable to locate room service menuStaff not helpfulWe were charged for breakfast but did not attend.
Wonderful facilities, very comfortable bed and beautiful bedsheets and excellent location.
Now they charge an $8 delivery fee for room service. This feels like you’re getting ripped off.
Gym and the pool
The breakfast was not great.and the receptiones.
Location
Under staffed - no turndown service Slow car retrieval Late room cleaning Said you busy to deliver a bottle of champagne purchase from our friends as a surprise.Did not clean our loft room in Metropol for my daughter on her wedding day & night. Was rude to her when asked for a clean please. Terrible experience on her wedding day. Unforgivable.Very disappointing Looks tired, worn out and needs decor upgrade asap. Not world classEmbarrassing for AO weekend and international guests would expect better.Very expensive for the room offering and customer service lacking.
Location and overall opulent feel to it.
The rooms are a bit outdated in comparison to Perth location.
Comfortable bed, beautiful view, spotless in the room and in common areas.
Lack of clear directions. We found it particularly difficult to find the hotel, as the address 8 Whiteman Street did not take us to the hotel location. It took us to a function venue, then another app took us to the food court at Crown and we ended up walking a very long way trying to find it. Once we found it, everything was excellent!
King bed was good. Room size was decent (not value for money).
check in staff. Need to smile a bit if we are travelling for special occassion.House keeping service- No water bottles. Every other property we stayed in Australia was comfortable providing either bottled water or jug of water. Here they said, drink from bathroom tap
It was large and more luxurious than my home- which is exactly what you want when you leave home.
A bottle of water costs $10, and it’s just everyday woolies .80c water- not sparkling or Voss.
Bedding was comfortable & linen was nice. Bathroom was nice.Pool & gym area great Toiletries appeared to be of decent quality & in pump option in the shower which is better.
Checkin was a debacle, busy night. Your guys handling the cars were not organised or working together. A couple of them were trying their best, but it did not operate like an organised operation. You’re really only set up for valet. Alternative parking is too far away. The lighting in your bathroom is sub standard & clearly a woman was not consulted. It was really difficult to do make up. Too dark.
We stay every year at Christmas time. We choose Crown Towers because it is the best for location, facilities and the pool.
I have always loved staying at The Crown ever since its opening. I am afraid it is now tired and cutting corners.
Looking shabby and staff were skeleton. Concierge desk was not attended directing you to front desk where the queue was long for a simple question.
The location and access to restaurants is excellent - the check in staff were excellent
The rooms feel tired with very 'marked' furniture. It also took us 45 mins for some ice after calling 3 times
