The StandardX, Melbourne

Good location, and I enjoyed the staff recommendations. The tram line is super close. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I like the format- basics done well.

The breakfast was great on one day but on the other two, the service was very slow. The rooftop bar is cute but didn't have much of a vibe.

Great hotel in cool part of town. Beautiful clean and comfortable rooms with very comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. A brilliant place.

Design and vibe of the hotel was great. Block out blinds and soundproofing amazing.

Beds weren’t long enough (my queen at home fits me better as I’m tall). Room was tiny. Had wagyu burger and eggs on toast downstairs at the restaurant while staying. Wagyu tastes near expiry and the eggs were served without salt, pepper or butter on the bread.

Went to have breakfast was seated then no one came over - so got a takeaway coffee but was terrible coffee even though it is St Ali tasted like milk. The next day I went and got a great Melbourne coffee and breakfast and went to the rooftop. -

Good value! We really liked the roof top terrace (the view is stunning), the area in which the hotel is located (Fitzroy) and the close proximity to Lune Croissanterie.

Beautiful details and great location in the heart of Fitzroy. Rooms were very comfortable and the rooftop bar was stunning.

Very convenient location, just yards away from Fitzroy main street with bars, restaurants, shops and transport to the city. Very comfortable bed. Rooftop bar. Very friendly staff

No storage in the bedroom

Its location was excellent, the room was perfect but most of all EVERY member of staff were excellent, professional, friendly and extremely awesome in every way.

The little stool in the bedroom was really annoying for sitting at to do work. But... the bar and lounge areas in the hotel were spot on for doing some work during the day, so there was an alternative space.

Not much.. the area was good and it was nice to see another part of Melbourne. There were limited options to eat at really good restaurants nearby, but the hotel food was excellent. the cherry on the cake would have been a pool!
