    Pros +

    • Fantastic safe and low traffic location, very tranquil and scenic location, with open airy rooms and a neat backyard. The rooms were spacious with ample storage. Large lounge room and kitchen was fantastic for a long stay. Easy to reach and great garage.
    • Staff very helpful and friendly. Kitchen and laundry ok
    • The accommodation was really close to the golf course. It was well equipped, including a washing machine and dryer. We were a family of three (My husband, 1 year old and I). We booked the one bedroom Apartment. We co-slept with our child so we didn’t need to hire a cot. The accommodation offers the use of highchairs for free. We had packed our travel chair so we didn’t need to use it. But was handy to know for any one booking with a child. You’re provided with a pouch of laundry powder and can purchase more at reception if needed. The kitchen is well equipped and we were provided with 2 dishwasher tablets for 3 nights. -Werribee Zoo and Mansion we’re about a 15 min drive-Museum of Art and play was about 40mins-The Aquarium and Museum were around 30minsThey also had a cash back system with some local restaurants. Or if you’re like us and your 1 year old has trouble sitting in a restaurant highchair for 30-40mins waiting to/and eating you can always get uber eats to the door. Hubby used the golf course and driving range and was happy with both.

    Cons -

    • The cleaning staff did not clean our room for 2 days out of our 5 night stay, it would be handy if they provided a recycling bin, there weren¿t any baking trays or oven mitts even though there was an oven. Overall fantastic though and I highly recommend
    • Aged property. Old kitchen equipment. Dishwasher would not start. Stains on kitchen ceiling.
    • Disappointed in bathroom lighting, size, layout, water pressure. Pleated shears are great when done properly, block out curtains were tacky, ill fitting, maybe better fixtures to match the beautiful bifold doors. Concrete wall the view from lounge.

Stars are always hard with a little one. The room had an orange armchair that we used to block the staircase. The hardest thing was the bathroom situation. All of the apartments appear to be two bedrooms and two bathrooms (located upstairs). Though if only booking for two adults and bub for free the second bedroom and bathroom is locked. The only bathroom you can use is the ensuite which was a pain when the little one was napping. You could get the second bathroom opened up for an extra $80 a night. I assume that that bathroom also had the bath pictured in the photos. Overall this didn’t hinder our stay too much and we will stay here again in the future.

Stayed here a few times not too far from the city or Geelong! Pool is amazing.

Everything the bed and lounge and pillows were the most comfiest I've ever been at a hotel my gosh the best sleep ??and we was in a emergency situation we got let down by a air bnb and found this place so we was super happy with this option.

Convenient to attend a function at the golf club

Couch in the lounge was very lumpy, very uncomfortable

    Very nice beds.

Kitchen a bit cramped. Sink too small. Refirgerator too small

Location was good. Staff friendly and willing to help after hours when the power went out late at night and it was pouring down with rain

The bifold door's didn't work. The place was looking tired. Cleaning and room service was a little slack. No need for us to run out of toilet paper. Not complaining about this but things like dead batteries in wall clocks need attention.

Location is located near lakes and a golf course. It’s also quite easy to get to if you travel by car. Reception was friendly and right in front of the apartment grounds. Apartment was clean and functional with most amenities available for your stay. Bed was a tad too soft for our liking but it was ok for one night stay.

Perfect location for a wedding nearby. Parking easy. Good food at golf club - 3 min walk away.

The bathroom smelt a bit - like urine. (The ensuite bathroom). Like the grout might need an update.

    8GemmaPosted on: 1-25-2025

I liked that it was 2 stories & that it had its own private outside area.

The general cleanliness outside is lacking: it needs a good clean. As the bathroom was upstairs, there should be a toilet downstairs. Plenty of room in the laundry area.

    Distressing and disturbing

The apartment was very dated and all furniture was dark brown along with brown carpets. Everything seemed old. We also had a very distressing stay as my partner found kitchen knives under the sofa and a small bag of some drug substance down the side of the sofa.

Unit and facilities were great. Staff are very accommodating and lovely. Highly recommend

Couldn’t access the gym and swimming pool due to new years (not really a complaint), but aside from that there are no complaints.

I like the location of the resort hotel that is set in a nice and tranquil part of Melbourne with facilities good for a family.

The master bathroom or ensuite actually smelled with staff saying they did not smell a thing the moment they did joint inspection with us, hours after we had gone out early in the morning and had turned the air conditioner on to ventilate As a repeated dweller there, I was disappointed this time, but they were quick to offer another unit, which was free of the filthy smell, and we had a very pleasant night there, sleeping tight.

    Love the location

Found insects found and inside the house, found bed bugs in the bed

    9PriscillaPosted on: 12-7-2024

It was only 12min drive to the altona basketball stadium and close to the shops as well.

The dishwasher was filthy and there was nails in there

    10JuliePosted on: 12-2-2024

Great location with great facilities, close to lake and shops.

    7SusanPosted on: 11-26-2024

The facilities were comfortable, felt like a home.

The twin bed near window was lumpy and needs replacing. Is abit outdated. Needs a thorough clean especially at front. The carpet cleaner was a strong smell, a bit irritating.

    8SeonaidPosted on: 11-9-2024

The location and facilities were perfect for us. A little home from home. Beautiful surroundings and walks, great having access to leasure club, cafe and restaurant right on the door step.

The apartment was tired, scuffed walls, chipped furniture, and carpets needing a serious clean if not replaced. A little disappointed .The staff were lovely and very helpful, apart from 1 who was very rude and offhand.
