Pros +
- It is close to Chapel Street, about 5 minutes walking time.
- Close to public transport and shops and cafes
- Property was CENTRAL. Was easy to access to everywhere and it was very cheap.
Cons -
- The impression I had is that the facility is on sale and the current owner does not spend to fix what is broken. The room was clean but the kitchen corner is not really equipped. It is cheap but I do not recommend it.
- The manager was rude. apartment smelt like a morgue. there were joints on the floor in the hallway outside our door. there were syringe packets on the ground outside our window. the bathroom was mouldy. Were there for 1 hr max and left. no refund given.
- The hot water in the shower did not work at all. One of the lights did not work at all. While the staff were friendly, it was very hard to contact them for any help.

Property was CENTRAL. Was easy to access to everywhere and it was very cheap.
My room did not lock. The key that they gave me didn’t lock the door of my room and the complex was very old.
Closer to my wife's trauining centre was the only positive.
I booked the property for a week but had to leave this property since we found mice and cockroaches running in the room.
Certainly not as advertised. The signage as advertised is non existent. The stench of cigarette smoke in the room is putrid. The bathroom door is battered and broken and the toilet cover is taped down with black tape. The adjoining neighbour stayed up until 4:00am and awakened to a jack hammer fixing the security gate at 8:00am.$100 for a $40 stay…booking.com should remove.
Location.
The price was cheap and the service was good
The place was not the cleanest
It was shelter and it had a place to park the car. The staff were friendly and helpful
The condition of the building in general was very run down and dilapidated
The bed
Cockraoches everywhere in bed, and all over the room. The mattress seemed like it would've been comfortable, if not for the roaches!Had to keep ringing reception every time I wanted back in the room.
Location, that was all
None of the facilities I paid for worked, TV was broken, cooker top broken toilet was not connected to wall and the seat fell off. The cuboard doors were also broken off.I had drug addicts trying to enter my room in the middle off the night all through the week, people fighting throughout the building and people with serious mental illness screaming for hours on end,There were mice, the bins weren’t emptied from the previous guest and neither was the fridge. They also hadn’t clean the room, hair clipping all over the place.I have a queen size bed with a single size quilt Exposed wires out the wall socket Also no Wi-Fi This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life.If should be removed from booking sites and solely used for social/welfare housing because that’s what half the building is.
the rooms were good for price and the apartment was in a good area.
i had two signed formula one driver hats stolen, and had a man next door to my room screaming out scary and inappropriate things all night long.
The location is minutes to Chapel Street which has chic shops and excellent pubs up and down the length of it.
The bed was hard as a board, the ceiling fan did not work so it was stifling the entire weekend, the other tenants were noisy, the shower was ok but dated, there were black bugs everywhere and so it was 2 stars but should be more like 1 star.
Bad
There were bed bugs. When I discovered them I sprayed the bed with fly spray and slept on top of the bed under a blanket. Also the blind broke when I was trying to pull it up and I told the lady at reception and she had a look but did not come back with someone to fix it. That was before I discovered the bed bugs. A horrible experience.
The area was quiet and close to a tram stop to get to the city.
The staff had no idea what they were doing. The room was not as described - we were meant to have two double beds but had one and a sofa bed that they didn't provide sheets for. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and we've left covered in bed bug bites.
Bad
Left after we checked in. Room was not clean and each surface was sticky. Emergency exit door padlocked closed and covered in graffiti. Some rooms were bolted and padlocked from the outside. Having to put a deposit on a front door key to leave was not ideal, so we left altogether.
Location
No air conCeiling fan not workingBed moved.. couldn't stabilise itVery very small TV.. no remoteFourth floor.. stairs on outside of building with no shelter from rainOne towel for two people.. requested more never arrived. Dodgy lightingVery very oldUncomfortable furniture.
I liked the staff member that met me and the loaction was good for the event I was going to see.
My booking had not been entered in to their system so they had no idea I was going to be there. The staff member was very apologetic but I was still charged full price and a $50 deposit, which I still haven't received back. There was one bed and a very badly maintained sofa bed.The key didn't work to let us into the room or into the apartement building but thankfully the lock on the outer door was broken which gave us access.
Nothing horrible I want my money back tv didn't work ni window to close in bathroom only flyscreen neighbours easy could watch me shower bed horrible filthy heater did not work fan made annoying ticking noise could not find anyone on check to demand My money back absolutely worst $106 I've spent in long time very disappointed and want refund or at least offer if free night
Everything nothing more to say filthy bad bed ni window to close in bathroom refund please
Absoloutely nothing. The only good thing I could say is that the manager gave me a refund without any issue or question
The place was disgraceful. The bed wasn’t clean, there were cockroaches everywhere, the duvet was damp, the toilet seat was broken where you could have even cut yourself. The bathroom also wasn’t very clean. There was even a bottle of insect killer left- as if to say “you sort out the issue”
Off street Parking was the only positive of this accommodation.
The room was dirty, mouldy and cockroaches everywhere. The Wi-Fi didn't work and the amenities listed did not exist. Had to leave, not safe for our children.
