Parking fare was too expensive and too tight parking for big cars. Not worth it to pay park.

Great location for visiting Melbourne CBD and inner city. Public transport at the end of the street. Cosy, clean room with basic items and a really comfortable chair. Great blockout curtains. Easy lift access and friendly staff.

Aircon was a little hit and miss but that could have been us.

The size of the room is okay, .Some reception staff are good and polite, while some of them are very rude.

We stayed for 10 nights from 15th to 25th Dec 2025 and the cleaning was very poor. Vacuum cleaning of the carpet was not done properly, even after we complained to the cleaning staff who came on 17th Dec 2025. Washing basing in the bathroom was dirty. When two people living in this size of a room needs daily cleaning. Cleaning was done every two days and on the third day. This makes us uncomfortable. Booking.com advertising indicates tea/coffee making facility but tea, coffee, and sugar were not provided in the room. When we requested at the reception on 19th night the Girl at the reception talked to us in a very rude way and provided the tea, coffee and sugar. Need to change the breakfast menu, All 10 days we stayed had the same breakfast menu

Tv did not work any streaming, only cable. There werent any toiletries as shampoo or soup available. Every request we made we had to go to reception to pick up, they said they would clean the room, but they didnt.

The staff were very nice and friendly, I was also very happy that we received a free room upgrade. Wonderful surprise. The room was very nice and I enjoyed the stay.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but I did not worry too much.

The shower was not great. the floor in the shower/bath moved underneath every step. It wasn't high enough for tall people.

The bright side, the location was great—close to all the main attractions, and you can use the tram for free within the city to get around easily.

Ibis Melbourne Hotel and Apartments is a budget option, so some compromises are expected. We stayed for 2 nights. One downside was that there was no lift from the parking area to the ground level, so we had to carry all our suitcases—definitely a hassle.The hotel does general cleaning after 2 days and a deep clean after 4 days, which we didn’t appreciate during our short stay. The bathtub was worn out and looked pretty bad. Also, the lobbies and corridors weren’t very clean, and the room views were just internal—nothing special.Even though we requested a better room, the staff member who checked us in didn’t offer an upgrade or options. After 2 nights, we moved to a better hotel nearby for the rest of our stay.
