    Pros +

    • Clean. 30 mins walk from centre of st kilda. Friendly and very helpful front desk staff!
    • Calm clean, cozy and felt like home If home was a Scandinavian spa.
    • It’s a quirky and interesting little hotel. We stayed in the Japanese styled room which is comfortable enough though it lacks a little space outside the tatami part of the room. Good shower and bathroom. Overall it was pretty good value for money in a good location about 10min by tram from central Melbourne. Free parking out the back is a bonus. Nice little cafe next door.

    Cons -

    • The bed is not a proper mattress. It’s only a couple of inches thick it’s actually just a mattress topper, not a proper mattress. Was very uncomfortable for sleep. The design of the shower means the water floods and goes everywhere.
    • There was no hot tub, cold plunge, sauna or steam room to make for an actual spa area.
    • Didn’t seem to be anyone at reception ever so had to call for someone to check in and out and if we needed anything. The room needs a couple of small repairs

It is a fabulous boutique hotel. It feels like a home. With only 4 rooms, it feels like staying with a hip and funky relative. Splash out on the spa facilites.

very comfortable stay and lovely ambience both the lobby and living room. they had a comfortable and beautiful shared pantry that we used for our morning coffee. staff were very friendly and accommodative. very value for money and enjoyed the stay greatly

none, but may be inconvenient for older travelers as rooms are at second floor

The building was beautiful, and the location was great.Friendly staff, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Appreciated the quick return on the bond.

There was so much water clean up from having a shower. The TV wasn't already connected to the internet/WiFi. There was no iron and iron board in the room, and the bathroom taps would leak when you turn them on. The early department was subject to the availability of staff, and in the future, to consider a drop box for the key (card) option for those who need to leave early.

Staff were lovely & hospitable, bed was comfy, room decor was modern & nice. Would stay again.

Door wasn't very soundproof as you could hear people in the hallway but couldn't hear much noise from outside the building

Great location and friendly staff. Was running late having driven from Sydney to Melbourne, the staff called me on my phone to give me instructions on how to access the building and room after hours.

My husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. This place had this air of calmness. The room was large, clean and comfortable..it is within walking distance to the bustling st Kilda beach. I would highly recommend it and would also love to have a massage there next time.

    Nothing at all

Wow, super spacious rooms and very comfortable beds.We had a very pleasant overnight stay and had a good rest in-between long drives. The bathroom was amazing!

    Could be more cleaned.

Good locationUseful to have car parking

There was a toothbrush in the shower that someone had left there so the shower had not been cleaned properly. There was no milk to have a cup of tea and reception was poorly staffed. When I rang them they said someone would be there in 10-15 minutes but after 30 minutes we decided to just give up thoughts of having a morning cuppa. We left shortly afterwards.Would not stay again.

Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Value for money.

The plug in the bath wasn’t a great design but that was literally all I could fault.

Easy access for car parking, great staff.

A little pricey even with a discount for massages

    7HayleyPosted on: 11-14-2024

The room was modern and had of room

Room was not sound proof so we were often woken up early in the morning but other people in the hallway

the theme was nice. The reception area was pleasing.Coffee machine appreciated.

Single glazed windows with daylight showing through when they were shut, or locked down due to paint sticking. Very poor presentation in these areas. No standard tea bags e.g. English breakfast or early grey. No milk. Was breakfast included? There was some instant noodles in the room. Was this breakfast, was it free. I could not tell. Was not really worth me paying less $$ to be out here as the cost of getting into town nullified this. I was expecting a better experience for my trouble, but that did not eventuate. When taking a shower water leaked across the floor, soaking the bath mat.Room was cold on arrival. Sure it heated up once I used the heat pump, but this just points to cold coming in through closed windows/poor insulation etc.

The Hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. Convenient location , nice coffee shop right next door, one Thai restaurant just opposite the road. Spacious room with stunning interior design. I can’t complain anything about it!

    I can’t recommend it enough

Initially I was reluctant to book due to one star review BUT any doubts were allayed as soon as I entered and I was instantly greeted by the attentive staff and the decor is just so inviting and warm.Every inch of the accommodation was spotless and clean and you can tell the owner has put so much love into the place to make your stay feel extra special! The massage experience offered is so unique and convenient too. It was perfect to relieve some stress after a long day.Overall one of the best experiences I've had and will definitely be back for a longer stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience, perfect for a little relaxing getaway!
