Underground apartment with no lift

Great location in the heart of CBD, team were great, but the carpet in the room was dirty (dust build up on carpet specially on the corners - so you can question if the room has been cleaned properly or not), which made our stay a little uncomfortable. Also being located in Flinders Lane, it does get noisy, we stayed on 8th floor and there's no view (you are looking directly into an office building where people can see you - hence blinds were closed the whole time). But staff was helpful and attentive. We paid $650 per night and definitely wouldn't visit again at that price unless cleanness and the view improved.

The location in Melbourne was superb to be able to walk to most places in the city. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in a very good, central location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was a little scruffy (damaged paintwork, dripping taps). It didn't bother us at all, because the apartment had everything we needed.

Great location, easy access to CBD with popular food locations eg lune nearby. Staff were also super accomodating, offering luggage storage before check in and after check out. They were very thorough when offering the tour of the facilities.

Bathroom could do with a revamp to improve the stay. Property was also quirky with a hot water boiler in the wardrobe which was a little noisy at night if you’re someone who needs absolute quiet to sleep.

Our unit was big enough for all of our kids and their friends. They enjoyed their stay for a night. Bonus is there are 2 bathrooms in the apartment.The location is excellent.

Location was good and room was large

could not use bathroom it was old and not clean the dishwasher door fell on us and the apartment on the whole was not very clean would not rebook here too run down. I would also like to add that we are very upset with this property charging us an extra $40 saying it was not a bond and never refunding I have tried with several phone calls and emails to get this reversed they are suggesting they did not charge us?? I am now having to deal with the bank to try and have the charge reversed terrible customer service and very dodgy practice would not stay here ever again

Good spacious apartment in a central location, close to everything. A bit old and tired but we still had a great stay.

The size of the room was great. The location was fantastic.

The basement wasn't sound proof and also let in a lot of light in the morning. Seriously you could hear everything inside the building plus all the noise outside including people walking with suitcases.

We loved everything about the property, communication, location, cleanliness, value, staff and comfort. We would happily stay at Flinders apartments anytime. We even got a free upgrade without asking, early check in, late check out and luggage storage.

Nothing, they were very accommodating.

PLEASE EVERYONE DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION. IT IS FILTHY AND NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS

EVERYTHING. IT WAS FILTHY, DIRTY, SMELLING, NOISY AND THE PHOTOS ARE NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. THE SMELL AS WE WALKED IN WAS LIKE A FILTHY OLD RAG THAT CLEANED. WE HAD TO TURN THE AIR CON ON TO BREATHE AS THE WINDOWS DOESNT OPEN. FELT VERY SICK FROM THE SMELL WITHIN 10 MINUTES. OLD HOT CHIP WAS IN THE KITCHEN, THE KNIVES AND FORKS HAD FOOD ON THEM. MARKS AND HOLES IN EVERY WALL AND THE BATHROOM WAS JUST AWFUL DIRTY AGAIN. HAVE MANY PHOTOS TO PROOF ALL COMMENTS

From booking to completing my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to ensure a pleasant experience. I'd recommend opting for one of the upstairs rooms which are large and have loads of facilities. As per other reviews, yes the building is old but I was quite comfortable for the entire stay and had everything I needed. I'd stay here again.

If I had to say anything here, the lift is a tad slow but hardly an issue.. for the value, it was all fine by me.

Very well located in the CBD, walking distance

Wifi is available to connect to but it is almost inexistant. Kept disconnecting and disappearing every 1 minute so I ended up essentially using my own travel data If you sleep light, the garbage truck passes in the middle of the night daily and it can be loud

Spacious and comfortable, many bathrooms and clean!

Elevator doors not operational due to other guests being trapped in the elevator overnight. The elevators were then left closed leading to us walking down the stairs

Great location. Unfortunately, the apartment is extremely outdated. The yellow lighting as soon as you walk in is almost a signal to turn around and go back. The Tv is from 1998 at best and it actually had a stereo with a cassette tape deck and a DVD player that didn't even work. Wifi was spotty at best. Bed and bath rooms all all very dated as well. The only good thing about this place is that the location. Its in the heart of the city. If you don't care about the facilities or if you're just there to sleep it's not a bad place.

Very out dated

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartment. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to relax.

The lift was a bit dodgy, and the windows very thin so despite being near the top floor the road noise was loud.

Location was great, rooms were large, veiw was fine. They were late with cleaning one room and offered 1 hour extension on check out.Cost/Price is fair for rooms.

We had 3 apartments with this place .Check in was at 2pm didnt get one appartment until 4.Heater did not work in 2 apartments.Blankets in one room was shredded.Bathroom was not cleaned properly in one apartment.
