    Pros +

    • Staff were very nice.
    • What a delightful stay! From check in to check out, nothing was too difficult. A notable mention to Mark the concierge who was so friendly and welcoming. It was great to be able to securely store our bags before our room was ready, allowing us to go out and explore the city. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and we could well have easily spent the night in. We will return
    • Very fancy, good location, comfy bed

    Cons -

    • We stayed 3 nights and only had our room made up once which consisted of the bed made and leaving 1 towel, hand towel and bath mat. For a 5 star hotel I’d expect towels to be swapped out and one clean for each person at least. We left the hanger on the door to have our room made up and were out all day, each day. It was a nice hotel, and the staff were great to us, but this is why I wouldn’t return.
    • Cold eggs, cold waffles, cold bacon
    • Pillows were too soft but firmer pillows were brought up

Great location and clean rooms. Staff are kind and helpful. They went above and beyond. Far exceeded our expectations. Quick check in and check out.

Pillows were too soft. Even with two pillows our heads sunk to the mattress.

Breakfast was lovely! The lady on the omelette station was over run but still kept smiling and her omelete was amazing!

    Location

There is never soap for the bath , every time I stay I have to pump the liquid soap from the shower onto the soap dish that is next to the bath. No point having a soap dish if you don’t supply soap!

    Great location, fabulous suite

Breakfast was probably the slightly weak point. More the ambience, which was busy and quite noisy, rather than the food.

    10FayePosted on: 2-5-2026

The bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud!! Staff at check in were really helpful, a pleasure to talk to. Breakfast - a vast array of dishes which should suit all palates and cultures. Wait staff extremely helpful and pleasant.

Excellent location and Room. So appreciative of the extensive breakfast menu and the inclusion of Halal breakfast options.

No complimentary valet parking. Otherwise it was too expensive.

    10LeonPosted on: 2-3-2026

The room was fantastic, very spacious, huge comfortable bed, desk , robes, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities.

Replenishment of amenities on 2nd day. No milk in fridge on 1st day but quickly rectified.

Fabulous view, very comfortable bed and bedding. Black out blinds for excellent sleep. Really nice bathroom.

One very small thing, bathroom door was opaque so when someone turned the light on it would light up the whole room.

Fabulous views of the Yarra and the City skyline. The room was full excellent with all ammenities included and available

    Well positioned and spacious

Service was poor and cleaning was not very good

Nice big rooms, easy transport from the hotel.

    Bar restaurant soulless.

    The views and location

The room could have benefited from closer attention to maintenance. I needed to let staff know that the shower knob was coming loose on two taps, and the basin drain was blocked. Given the standard of the room, I would have expected these items to be checked as part of regular inspections. The staff were helpful when notified, though a little more proactive attention would have enhanced the overall experience.

The facilities are beautiful, the hotel represents a high-end brand, and the staff were absolutely incredible — friendly, attentive, and truly professional.

Overall, our stay was good — the service and food were excellent. However, the bathroom, toilet, and bathtub were not properly cleaned, which was disappointing for a hotel at this price point. We chose not to let this ruin our New Year’s Eve, but we expected a 10/10 experience and would rate it 7.5/10 instead. This was our first time with this hotel brand, and unfortunately, we’ve had better experiences at more affordable hotels. For now, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Lovely views and location. Good bathroom. Spacious room.

Dusty. Allergies were bad for me. Pillows way too soft. Couldn’t sit in the bar near the big screen. Windows dirty.

We had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Melbourne. A special thank you to Jacky, who kindly gave us an early check-in at 8 a.m. We really appreciated it and it made our arrival so much more comfortable. The room with the skyline view was absolutely beautiful. During Christmas time, we were even able to watch a show directly from our room, which was a lovely experience. The breakfast was excellent — a great variety of options and top quality food, everything was fresh and delicious.Overall, a fantastic hotel with great service. We would definitely stay here again!
