The Larwill Studio Melbourne - Art Series

The hotel is located right by a children hospital (which we had not known), but it is not a negative. The place is easily accessible, walking distance to University of Melbourne. The room was big and convenient. The staff is excellent.

The aesthetic look and feel of the room and the rest of the hotel are very pleasing. The view from my window was beautiful. The hotel's location next to Royal Park and a short walk from Melbourne Zoo is great.

Convenient central location. Spacious, clean, bright and well decorated room and public areas.Refreshingly different from usual comparable accommodation.

The bed was super comfy, the room was very clean, and the views of the parklands were lovely to wake up to every morning.

My fridge didn't get restocked every day and they didn't have any bottles of water at the front desk.

Convenient, clean, comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Property was amazing. No complaints.

There was a strong drain smell coming from the bathroom but it didn't impact our stay. We just kept the bathroom door closed at all times

Overall the room was great with nice amenities. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful to the max. The restraunt was exceptional, and definitely worth visiting. I would revisit.

The bed was sagging and caused hip pain. Also with no sheer curtains, no privacy facing a building with windows. But the room was overall great and I would revisit. I know prices are up, but $8 for chips was a bummer. For some reason, I did not mind paying for the water, but not the chips.

Beautiful property, live the fact it has a coffee machine and microwave. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Loved it

When i wanted a tax receipt and called up via phone, the staff were very obstructive. I need it for my patient transport assistant claim and I still havent received it

The hotel is quite stylish and well appointed with quality fixtures and amenities. We had a wonderful view of hot air balloons floating past our window in the morning. Very convenient to get to our 9am appointment at Royal Childrens - we didn't have to leave the building. Checkout at 11am was really convenient too.

We liked it was so close to the doctors office that we had appointment to, so we just used an elevator to go there without leaving the building, plus there is a secure parking and the café downstairs was great too- very convenient for a stay like that

We didnt realize there was a free wifi, didn’t notice any signs of it in the room.

Generous room size, great facilities and reading material related to the artworld and artists. Super comfortable king bed. Fantastic location on the edge of the CBD with wonderful parkland views. Very quiet location with onsite parking. Tram stop just 50m away and front desk was super friendly and helpful in explaining how to reach our destination. Onsite restaurant has a very cool vibe, great food & friendly, efficient staff. Easy return to Flemington Road and return to the airport.

Location for what we wanted was great, public transport was good.

The traffic noise was loud all night, which kept me awake. i would have thought that it would have had double glazing to block it, but it doesnt.

Staff are fantastic. Rooms are clean, comfortable & well appointed. Art is impressive. Toiletries are too shelf.

TVs are just flat screens; no internet. Also, there's an unpleasant smell associated with the plumbing in the bathrooms. I've stayed in two different rooms on different floors; different sides of the building, and the smell was noticeable in both. It's quite off putting.

Very comfy bed and room was very clean. Great location for the hospitals in the area. The good thing about Art Series Hotels is the different art you see around the hotels which all relate to the artist the hotels are named after

Great when you have appointments at the RCH

Only problem we had was room wasn’t ready at 2pm, we were exhausted after being up early as we only had 4 hours sleep, had to wait another 45 mins

Clean and location

It was mentioned parking included but had to pay $28 a day, which is ok but having to go to the reception to obtain a pass to take the vehicle out was a pain. Couple of times staff at the reception was busy and had to wait in line to sign and obtain a card to exit. Should have a better system so guests don't waste time.

Nice, spacious room with very comfortable bed & lovely views of the park. Linked to the Royal Children's Hospital, so super convenient for hospital visits.
