    Pros +

    • Room floor was dusty, needs new carpet.
    • A very comfortable bed ...and 5 th story super quiet..good staff
    • Absolutely love this place, and have already rebooked. The location is brilliant - close to fabulous shops and restaurants, and close enough that we walked to concerts held in nearby gardens. The rooms are compact with everything you need. The bed is super comfy, and the shower is strong and hot. The restaurant does great food and drinks! Staff are super helpful. Parking is a dream..very cheap and within easy walking distance, and if you need trains, the station is a few minutes walk up the road.

    Cons -

    • Hotel doors slamming. Rooms are small.
    • As older people this was simply a room to sleep in ....very tiny double room ...no chair etc . Definitely opt for queen room . The car park is a couple of blocks away but you can be dropped off . Great place if you want the night club scene and young vibe
    • Couldn’t find parking close and weren’t told when booking about reserving a car park. The bed was to soft and the head of the bed felt like it was down hill, no kettle in our room.

I love staying here normally. Great property. This tike was disappointing.

I spoke to the reception staff when I landed in Melbourne to make sure I could check in after midnight. The person was rude. There was no working air con in the room.I was offered a $30 discount on my next visit. This is more of an insult than anything.

Rooms were boutique and felt luxurious, the overall vibe of the hotel was very trendy and really fit with the suburb. Staff were very friendly and were happy to help with requests. Hotel is very close to restaurants, nightlife and major public transportation, no need to uber or taxi

Rooms were quite dusty. The breakfast wasn't anything special, it was included in our booking however the prices are very high so I wouldn't recommend paying out of pocket. Much nicer breakfast options close to the hotel. The location is very far from the airport (not the hotels fault) so expect an expensive uber/taxi.

    Very clean and central.

    No view.

Breakfast was fine. Coffee OK but I like a strong one and no barista ever tastes a soy capp, even in Melbourne. Location was fabulous!

I expected a table with a chair. I've never been in one that didn't have one. I had to do makeup for a gig so improvised by sitting at the end of the bed. It wasn't a bother and the room was otherwise fabulous! Loved every part of it!

My daughter booked the room for me and I found it extremely comfortable. The bed was soft and the pillows were just right. There were lots of clever hidden away facilities in the room. The check in was easy and the reception person was very friendly. The breakfast was fabulous too. Thank you

I love the funky vibe and the laid back feeling you get in this hotel. Their snug room was comfortable plenty of room for two, it's modern and has everything you'll need. Best is their very friendly and helpful staff, Vincent was so welcoming, helpful and 5/5 best front of house you can have, and everyone was so approachable.

Nothing really, my husband said if we have to put something down it would be that sound travels well through the rooms - I don't mind it but maybe other might.

Location and the super comfy bed. I accidentally booked the Snug Room as the cheapest room and Booking.com didn’t add the 14sqm size. I went in and felt claustrophobic a the carpet was all broken. The staff upgraded me to a decent room size for $20. Great vista and bed.

    Snug room is TINY

Hotel was great, perfect location for getting everywhere. Cool interiors, fantastic staff (Vincent couldn't have been more accommodating), love the little touches like lollies in reception. Would definitely stay again and recommend

The room cleans could have been better - seemed like all they did was replace towels and make the bed

    Clean. Easy. Nice and new.

They charged me for wine that I never drank from a Mimi bar that has no menu either.

    Location / interior design

This place has seen better days. Have stayed here before and the vibe of “everything’s included” including the mini bar in the room, the party bags of goodies that were replenished in room every day, aperitivo hour etc has now gone in favour of what I assume to be profits, replaced with a few jars of lollies on reception desk. Also I’m not sure how empowered staff are to fix problems. My stay was four nights and I was “upgraded” to a room that made me wonder what I was upgraded from. Dark, dirty and caked in dust with louvres on the windows that couldn’t be moved so it was quite “prison cell-esque”. I was told there would be a “deep clean” done which never came. So why even bother promising it? Also a note of caution. The smaller rooms don’t have windows that open which means that if you’re not running the air con all the time it gets super stuffy. Then on the other hand with the air con on, you’re an absolute husk by morning and wake up groggy and unrefreshed. At one point I fell asleep mid morning and didn’t wake up again until mid afternoon. You’re basically suffocating yourself.

Really good location. Very helpful staff, we forgot our hats and they’ve mailed them to us!

    Nothing really.
