Everything. Small basic room with stains on bedcover, it felt like I was at a homeless shelter only it cost nearly $500.00 per night not including breakfast.

This was my second stay and I really love the location. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming. The room was a little dusty this time, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. It’s not the cheapest option, but being so close to everything makes it worth it. I would definitely stay again.

Easily top 5 hotels in Melbourne. We have stayed here many times from King room, 1 brm, 2 brm and all rooms are excellent. I always rate a hotel on the brand of hairdryer and the Next has Dyson so it’s 5 stars from me. Great bar on 1st floor. Easy check in. Good location. Nice cafe on street level to grab a coffee.

Sometimes valet can talk a while. This time we waited 30mins for our car. Also the “club” lounge is on the same floor as check-in. Shame that it’s not on a higher floor. It lacks atmosphere and food is ok.

The easyness. Location was great and really clean room. The breakfast was great and attentive staff. The bar staff and bar was great for a night cap.

I would ask for a room with a view next time as not having any view seemed a bit like staying in a box. I just assumed I would hv one.

Beautiful hotel, stylist and comfortable room, great amenities. Feels very classy, good storage options in the room. Stunning resatuarant and bar for breakfast. Great location, right in the CBD, we walked to most places. They even made a packed breakfast for us one day on request.

The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of great restaurants and shops, very central for getting around. Staff were also great and we loved the pillow menu.

I think the breakfast offering could be improved. I remember it being more like a cafe last time where I ordered a smashed avocado. This time felt more like a basic buffet with eggs to order.

Great central location. Clean and very quiet room with large comfortable bed. Friendly staff and good coffee. The blackout curtain made the room very dark which was great. Valet parking well worth the cost in that location.

The lighting in the bathroom was very dim to shave, and for my partner to put her makeup on, despite all the lights being on. There was a makeup area in the room too but that had no lighting and was too dark. The breakfast was good quality but pretty limited compared to other buffet breakfasts.

Limited city views but not a hotel issue as the you are in the centre of CBD and buildings are stacked next to each other.

Loved being on the 23rd floor, beautiful city view. Great shower and a no fog mirror. Lighting nice but not good for makeup application. Good mini bar. Good to get complimentary water.

Nothing at all

Location for sure, staff made it seem like nothing was an issue, shower and bathroom was amazing, air conditioning worked well, easy to find

The rooms are probably slightly smaller than expected even when we got an upgrade and if you’re a make up girlie the lighting in the bathroom isn’t great. These are only minor issues though everything else was exceptional.

The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was very dark when it was time to sleep.

The water pressure in the shower was terrible, barely enough water to get clean. The glass screen did nothing to prevent the water from going all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast setup was not good either. First the staff argued that we hadn't paid for breakfast, then when we proved that we had we were sent to the restaurant where we had to prove ourselves again. There was a minimal buffet and limited items to order; one of the worst hotel breakfasts we've had. The Hiltons tell you they are holding a minimal deposit and then hold double the fees for a week, this is the 2nd time this has happened to us and we won't be using Hilton hotels again.

Location, decor, new

Double bed is too small for a couple, and uncomfortable. Queen is better size.
