Lancemore Crossley St. Melbourne

Location - close to theatre district & restaurants, carpark a short walk away

Bed too soft & air conditioner very loud, stairs at entrance

I've stayed here many times previously and loved it. This time I came with my husband to show him my favourite hotel and unfortunately it didn't go too well.

We couldn't get our temp for anything other than 27 degrees. Coming back after walking from rod laver arena to a stinking hot room was yuck. Called for help and the air conditioning was broken but no one told us. Thank god for cold showers. The fans were so noisy, we both left sick today.

Great value, big room, clean and comfortable. Very modern

The staff here are amazing. Our second stay and everyone is friendly, generous and easy to deal with.

Location. Size and comfort of the room. Very clean!

Plenty of eating opportunities very close. Close to park for morning walk. No emergency vehicles with sirens or gargage trucks disturbing sleep

Location, Staff were wonerfull , help always at hand , Breakfast ,easy and coffee ,or drinks was excellent , there was a happy hour from 5 to 6 pm free drinks , but we didin't have the time to stay long but it was only for 20 minutes , but whatever you wanted you could have , we were the for valentines day from 13 to 15 , so it was great for you to be with your partner it is also in china town , You'll love the aroma in the air in the area about 10 blocks from flinders Street Station , you'll walk through the most beautifull and culinary delicasies aromas in the air .you'll experience , People living all night long enjoying themselves , but by 7 or 8 am the place is another world , dead completly no a car in sight ,nor sound,no people , we loved it

Rooms are small , bathroom , when you have shower gets foggy ,mirrors get foggy and wet , my wife cannot get the make up on because fan don't work . Breakfast was only ( included in the price Cold ,meaning , you can heat worm or ask for anything to be heat it up or somenthing , but theres is not bacon or eggs or Sausages, but everything else , you have to pay to watch movies , all junk TV

The bed was exceptional. Prompted me to buy myself a new one! Check-in was quick and easy as was the checkout. The concierge service prior to arrival was lovely. I really appreciated the contacts beforehand to offer supports and advice

Comfy, modern and clean rooms with excellent amenities. Location is fantastic for exploring Melbourne city.

Lacking in facilities

Room was lovely and bed super comfortable. Location is incredible, being so close to many restaurants and theatres. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, including having my bag that I had dropped off earlier in the morning already waiting for me in my room when I checked in.

room on the small size and the wardrobe area did not have any shelving and very few hangers that could have been better

This hotel is in an excellent location, with a boutique feel and a sophisticated lobby and bar. The room itself is very comfortable, price is reasonable, the rooftop terrace is lovely to sit on for a drink or bite to eat. There’s plenty of food options nearby for delivery to your room. There was also a hosted hour of free drinks. This was my second time at the hotel and I would definitely stay again

We came down for the Australian Open. The hotel is in a very good position in Little Bourke St. Easy to walk everywhere in the city and out to the tennis. So many restaurants and bars around the area. Easy walk to public transport when needed. Beds were large and comfy, plenty of room to spread out. Clean. Helpful and friendly staff and happy hour each afternoon.

The air-con worked wonderfully and kept the room lovely and cool but it was super noisy, so we had to turn it off at night so we could sleep. But not a deal breaker and would stay here again.

- Poor housekeeping service (the bed linen isn't changed for days (maybe they wouldn't have changed it at all if we hadn't asked)- Have to re-log-in WiFi manually every day- Low soundproofing - Small bathroom size (it is about 3.5-4 sqm)- The ceiling height in the bathroom is about 2 meters (tall people can't even take a shower)- The air conditioner is very noisy and does not work well- The safe in the room does not work

So impressed with this gorgeous boutique hotel!The staff were lovely, our room was perfect…and happy hour drinks! What a bonus!Fabulous location as well…can’t wait to stay again xxx

Nothing to my disliking

Lovely and clean, central, friendly staff. The beds are very comfortable with comfortable pillows. Easy to make the room dark with the roller blind working effectively as a blackout blind.

The air conditioner is loud and disruptive to sleep. As there are no opening windows, it’s too stuffy not to have it turned on. It functioned well, but what would otherwise be tolerable white noise is too loud for sleep.

There's nothing I didn't like about my stay at Lancemore on Crossley, from the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly and felt like a VIP guest. Truly my best hotel experience within Australia

Having to leave was the only downside to my stay.
