    Pros +

    • Free wifi
    • The location to bus station to catch the Skybus to the Airport..it is very convenience and nearby without taking a tram.
    • Friendly guy on the reception. He kindly let me check out a little later. The room was decent enough. Just don't expect anything incredible as it's obviously a cheap place. Bed was comfy.

    Cons -

    • - The hotel entrance is not signposted - The hotel is not staffed, the staff from the nail salon next door come round to do check in - Ordered a king and single, got two singles - No socket to charge phone - Nowhere to put a suitcase
    • The kitchen and fridge is not clean quite dirty and they don't give us a kettle to boil the hot water inside our bedroom, so I need to wait uncertain time to get the kettle. Furthermore, the soap and hand wash in the bathroom are limited.
    • Cleanliness could have been a bit better. Found a large hair in the fridge. There was also belongings (deodorant and toothpaste) from a past guest in the drawer of the desk. The window latch in the room was broken so it didn't close the window properly.

Only a few tram stops to Southern Cross Station. Once we got in everything was OK.

We were locked out on arrival. They say reception was open until 10PM but we arrived a little after 5PM and found the building locked up and all staff gone. They had sent us an email on how to get in a few minutes earlier but when you're on the sidewalk outside there is no wifi and why would we check emails anyway: they're supposed to be open until 10. We finally got in by someone (we weren't the only ones locked out) phoning and having them tell us how to get in.

    Location, bathroom, privacy.

Small TVs, no cable, Foxtel or anything. Noise from other rooms could easily be heard. Bed was old and worn out and sagging a bit.

Was very handy to transport. Appreciated having a fridge and tea facilities.

Didn't like having room, street side on the ground floor with people walking past and able to look in the window. Being a single woman I wasn't comfortable opening the blinds or the window.

Comfortable and very quiet. Location's good, not much effort to get the public transport.

The cleanliness was generally okay. There's room to be improved.

Convenient location, good value, comfortable bed

the room door handle/lock was very difficult to open from the outside - something needs adjusting

Staff friendly and very helpful. I needed help entering the building and finding a location.

No cutlery in the room to make a coffee. No cutlery or sponge in the kitchenette level one The TV on yhe side wall not opposite the bed. Tv hard to watch and it is dmall.Could do with patching the wall where the switch is. Fresh paint in the near future.

    Clean and good location

The beds were awful. No-one slept! Queen bed - lop-sided causing me to roll off the bed. I tried to sleep in the middle of the bed, but kept rolling off. The springs in the bed could be felt on all beds. My friend, who slept on the single bed, had to sleep on top of the doona/blanket to try and reduce the feel of the springs in her body. It was just awful!

    The staff were nice.

Small toilet very uncomfortable the tollet sliding door wasn't working properly. I complained but tk no avail. Small room in the photo it all looks good but in reality very verb small. It was like OYO rooms.

The penthouse seemed like they’d had cheerleading rehearsals inside the room - so much damage to the walls and ceiling and the patch jobs were very poorly done.It was just all the little things that made the stay a bit sub par, the fridge looked like it had been beaten up with a hammer, broken tiles in the kitchen, screws half hanging out of cabinetry, mismatched pillows. We picked the room for its impressive sized balcony, and yet there was no furniture out there, just a grubby floor and 3 air conditioning units. The redeemers were the comfy beds - despite being 2 singles pushed together instead of an extra large double as stated, and the location, pretty close by to most things. The one staff member we saw was lovely, communication was great before, during and at departure.

There is a variety of room sizes and I must have had the tiniest. No breakfast available. Lovely helpful staff.

    7RaymondPosted on: 4-12-2025

Great Staff and location, room was good value however the bed cod do with a new mattress or a mattress topper as it was very uncomfortable, we gad to put the spare blankets below the sheet to get asleep

A clean, and well designed space for a short stay. Very helpful owner - do their best to make your stay comfortable. Bedding was clean and bathroom was exceptional.

Not so much about the property, the street it was on didn’t have lights. So think the responsible person in government should do something about that.

Clean room, lovely staff and close to Melbourne sports and aquatic centre

    8NoraPosted on: 4-6-2025

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There is a fridge in the kitchenette and room. In addition, there is a laundry service one can use.It would have been good if we had had permanent access to the kitchen. It could only be used when the reception was occupied, which was mostly not the case.It is a calm area in the South of Melbourne. However,be prepared to get a card for the public transport.

A really cozy place in an exceptional location. The staff were friendly and accommodating the entire duration of our stay. There was also great after-hours access and facilities.
