    Pros +

    • Conveniently located. Good sized rooms well equipped. Parking onsite. Very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it!
    • Great location for Chadstone shopping centre. Parking was great option.
    • Easy access. Well maintained. Parking extra.

    Cons -

    • The configuration of the beds - requested 2 singles. One single was set up in the main living area. We moved it because it didn't give us anywhere to chill out together.
    • Noise from road traffic
    • Unfortunately my stay was less than satisfactory, there is no soundproofing whatsoever and the noise levels from the highway are extreme even between the hours from 8pm-6am is loud. I was informed that traffic slows and noise level decrease during those times frame but it did not, it felt like trying to sleep in a truck stop!! IMPOSSIBLE!! The bed is old, you can feel the joint down the centre when the two singles are zippered together, then beds on each side dip/sink so low it’s uncomfortable. In addition I chose this property over others as it boasted modern appliances such as washing machine and dryer, travelling for work these are crucial, the dryer was damaged missing the cover and making a clunking bang on every cycle, The tv remote didn’t work and the furniture is all stained or damaged. I really expected more from this properly and the advertising used to showcase some of the rooms is not a current representation of what you get.It is also clear that cleaning is irregular as all vents are lined with dust, both the dryer and the washing machine had filters which were clogged with excessive amounts of gunk, the fire alarm had been covered by a plastic bag and duct tape which made me wonder if an infestation had been present. The coffee machine was dirty.Considering the premium rates charged for the stay, this property really needs to factor in some much needed upgrades.

The staff seemed understanding but that’s not enough to overcome the overall stay. Not all rooms are as bad as the one I was stuck in for 3 nights out of my 4 night stay, however knowing that this property has some good and some extremely run down rooms is frustrating and the first one I was given no one should be given until renovated.

The girls at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable and centrally located for what we were in town for.

Im a country girl and the street noise was loud, but to be expected in the city. Also the cafe on site wasn’t open for breakfast which was disappointing.

Location for where we were going

NO HOT WATER!!! Room not clean, small and cramped room, no hand or foot towel in bathroom

    4TALINPosted on: 5-7-2025

I liked the location of the facility. Walking distance from bus station that takes you to the major entertainment locations like Chadstone mall and Oakleigh. Very close to train station that can take you to the city in half an hour. Area was safe and reception staff were helpful and friendly

Inside the one bedroom apartment was disappointing. No AC or fan in the bedroom so it’s unbearable to stay in on hot days. The living room AC wasn’t working properly either. No ventilation in the bathroom ( exhaust fan was installed but not working). Refrigerator wasn’t working well that it spoiled our food and had to put new food in the freezer. Hot water in the bathroom sink was working occasionally. The king size bed was very uncomfortable. It’s not a place to stay at specially during hot season or days.

Location was perfect for what we needed and the staff were very good and helpful.

It is a bit tired and some of the cutlery in the drawer was rusted. The bathroom also needed a good going over. Was not as clean as we would expect

The one bedroom apartment was ok but seemed dark

The noise. I was up until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. There’s a shisha cafe downstairs and when those customers leave, they sit around the car park and talk and yell. Very loud and noisy and because of this, I would never stay here again.

    8ReneePosted on: 4-13-2025

Rooms were comfortable and suite was spacious. We were right next to the lift and didn't hear a thing from the hallway, which was great. The Tea Garden restaurant downstairs was fantastic, and very accomodating. Contacting us when our order was ready so we could pick up easily.

The sensor light between the two rooms of the suite. Every time we moved anywhere in the main room, or the smaller bedroom, the light turned on, which was difficult at night with four people moving around.

Great location, close to our event and Chadstone Shopping Centre. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent facilities in rooms.

    Traffic noise.

    10AlexandropoulosPosted on: 3-25-2025

Staff were very accommodating, reception went to the effort of leaving a few little sweet treats and a note to welcome in the room which I thought was especially thoughtful

Traffic outside was the only thing but staff had left earplugs in the room so slept like a baby

    Very disappointing

Noisy due to road. Air. Conditioning unit was useless. Furniture sparse. Not very clean.

The punthill was an excellent location for our transit through Melbourne. We were close to the shops and lots of restaurants. It ended up being cold so we were able to get some new clothes within walking distance. We parked our 2 tonne van in the car park and everything was very convenient

    Very good

Room a bit small although well equipped with kitchenette and very friendly staff all through...

    9MariePosted on: 2-9-2025

Friendly welcome, comfortable bed, coffee pods, balcony.

The decor is just a little bit sterile. Street noise.

    6RebeccaPosted on: 2-7-2025

We liked the location. It was easy to drive to Cabrini Hospital for medical treatment, which was the purpose of our visit.

The furniture items were tired. The 4 kitchen chairs had big patches of vinyl peeling off their backs. The desk chair was old and worn, and the gas struts no longer worked, so if you sat in it the seat sunk down. We couldn't sit out on the balcony as the table and chairs were dirty/greasy. It advertises a fitness centre, which was one treadmill, one exercise bike, and some free weights. The spa was closed, and appeared to have been closed for some time. I did inform reception of the desk chair and balcony furniture, however nothing was done during our 3 night stay.

The bed was super soft, which was nice as hotels usually have beds that are too hard. The place was clean, in a good location. The lady at the front desk was a delight to talk to, and very helpful. Public transport is very close by. Restaurants are close by. The place they recommend for breakfast is fantastic and is around 3 buildings down, which isn't very far at all.

The room was way too small. There's more room in the bathroom to walk around than in the bedroom area. The desk was so close to the bed that it was near impossible to get in the chair, or to get past the chair. There was barely enough space for one suitcase. That size room should only have a single bed. We had many issues with our keys. Came back two nights in a row and our keys weren't letting us in to the building.

    3BloodPosted on: 1-22-2025

Smell in the foyer was good. Parking was secure. Staff were really friendly.

Building was very tired and bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in. If u like a bed that soft you cant roll you will love it.

    Rude staff

We had arrived at the hotel late at night with the kids. We had a room key in the key box, but we didn't have a key for parking. We were in a very difficult situation because we needed a key to park. Fortunately, another guest on the way to the accommodation gave us a parking spot, so we were able to enter the room. The next day we were busy with our schedule from dawn, so we couldn't meet the receptionist, and when we talked on the phone, the staff responded in a very ludicrous tone and offered to refund the parking fee for two days. However, it still hasn't been refunded. It was a very unpleasant experience.
