YTI Garden Hotel

The location gives easy access to trams or walking to all areas of Melbourne. The small kitchen is great for breakfast and other meals to save.

The price was fantastic, as well as the location. The staff were pleasant, and allowed us to leave our bags there during our final day so that we could explore Melbourne!

Could hear everything from people in other rooms and on the street. But it wasn’t the absolute worst.

Nothing at all

too noisy, every sounds from the street below echoed into your room, and the room did not keep warm or cold no matter if you had the Heat/Air Con on.

The room was very big, lots of places to leave your luggage and all other items. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had 2 big beds. Lots of electricity outlets, large windows, timber floors. The location is very central and surrounded by every type of restaurant or shop you could need. Close to everything.

The hotel is dated in look and the reception area is small (not an issue for us at all). It can get a little noisy at night due to surrounding restaurants, this also was not a problem for us. We could not fully close the window in the bathroom which did mean it was a little noisier. We were able to shut the door which helped.

Location, could not ask for better. And for an excellent price. Bed was very comfortable.

Noisy people outside, but this is not a fault of this hotel. I stayed on the Saturday & Sunday night. Sunday was good, but a bit rowdy on Saturday to around midnight. To Note: This is not at all to do with the Hotel, but you are in an area with pub/clubs, so you should expect it. This would NOT make me go to another Hotel, so if you want quiet either bring ear plugs, or stay on the 30th floor

The location was fantastic. So close to everything! The small kitchen was equipped with basics to prepare easy going meals if necessary. Beds were comfortable, heater worked really well, Shower was nice temperature and good pressure. We stayed very comfortable in this room.

There could have been a few extra things in the kitchen. Such as a tea towel to dry the dishes, A pair of scissors to open packets, A microwave safe container would have been useful too. The shower screen is a bit short and allows water to seep out into the bathroom area. The bathroom grout on the floor could use a deep clean. We had a cracked window in the bathroom and the window was not sealed properly.

1. Location is near the main intersection of Bourke and Elizabeth Street. You can't get any better than that!2. It has many shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby.3. Very near tram stops.4. Price is good considering how expensive accommodations are in Melbourne.5. Room was very wide!6. Rooms are cleaned everyday, has fresh towels daily too.7. Has a small kitchen! (At least in our room.)8, Has airconditioning/heating.

1. The hotel might need a bit of a facelift as it does look dated.2. Public areas might need a bit more cleaning.3. Wifi could be stronger (in our room, it is strongest near the kitchen/door, but hard to connect or maintain wifi connection elsewhere in the room.)

The location is a prime location in the CBD. The staff are very helpful and the facility is very well and the room is acceptable for the comfortable and clean.

The room does not have a proper window for viewing and quite dim and dark in the daytime

Noise from outdoors, could do with some double-glazed windows.

The location was a great place, we were also able to go into a two single bed room as it was available at the time. The staff were super friendly and allows you to keep your bad there on arrival and if you have a late flight.

It would have been nice if there was some scissors to help open some hard to open things we bought. The wifi was not the best, but still worked

The absolute BEST location! Lovely staff. Excellent value.

Not the cleanest room but towels were changed daily which was awesome. More investment should be made in glasses, plates, etc as there were only one of some stuff, and if there were 2 they were mismatching.

The place was cheap. I knew what to expect. Location was amazing. Changes in travel plans had me arriving about 5hrs before traditional check in and the lady at the front desk was awesome and let me check in early which allowed me to dump my stuff and get showered. A bloody great result!
