City East Motel

the nicest thing was the guy on the phone who was polite and trying to be helpful;

Dark isolated street , no lights, entry filthy, steps up only rooms disgusting , dirty walls , cleaner not professional , old everything . Slept fully clothed. ominous characters around . dirty everything light didn't work , tv barely.

Location was great for the train station as you have two options, depending on your needs. The layout & building in particular were quite unique.

Room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and some amenities were in need of an update but still worked well enough for my short stay. Great budget option for a weekend but wouldn't stay any longer than that.

strange plastic pipe in shower, nearly empty soap bottle, messy electric extension cords hanging off tv. not very important but fixable

Absolutely nothing!

We booked room for Saturday 1/9/2018, we were told it was fully booked and staff member was very rude. Regardless that my fiancée and myself stayed there a total of 4 nights through out the week, my partner paid good money. My partner also got confronte

Aircon fix - dripping water

Good central location. Also has parking.

We stayed in room 11. Aircon was very noisy. Couldn’t sleep because of the rattle in the air con. Ended up turning it off so we could sleep. It was a hot couple of days, just as well it was only one night.

Aircon was nice and cold

Towels were dirty upon arrival. When we asked for new towels, we got given more dirty ones. Had to use personal towel.Bin liners never replaced unless requested.

Basic motel style accommodation. Handy location close to where I needed to get to in Melbourne. The free parking is very useful.

Noisy, and the room was not clean. The staff did not check if I needed anything i.e wifi. The cleaners did not knock and just tried to enter it was lucky I had the door latch on

Bed linen was clean and fresh. shower was hot and it had great water pressure. Easy to access carpark and room. Carpark was secure overnight. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location

In the fringe of the city.

The room stank.It's not really worth the money.They asked for extra cash for security, and didn't tell anyone else how to refund it.The sheets had stains.The toilet was leaking behind the seat, making it smell.The TV was broken.The rooms don't have windows to air them out. Other guests left their doors open to air them out.This motel could make a ton of money, but they need to work on their service.

Deposit not refunded

1. The room had a strong smell of cigarettes.2. The property took a $50 deposit via EFTPOS, which has still not been refunded after two weeks. After I called them, they promised to do the refund. But, the next day I received a call from the property asking me to provide my card details over the phone. I said I was not comfortable disclosing so sensitive card info by phone.... The staff stated that this was the only way they could return the deposit! This situation was very disappointing.

The bathroom was new and clean

No security on door. Dirty, stains, bed uncomfortable. Dirty utensils, cups…it’s the kind of place that you’d rent by the hour…Stayed 15 minutes, booked elsewhere.
