Novotel Melbourne Airport

Good size rooms all new of-course and very convenient for very early flight.

Upon check in stood and waited a faily long time whilst staff were chatting and without being acknowleged. Could have directed us to self check in which wpuld have been fine but not acceptable not to at least acknowledge guests.

Location and nice room, shuttle to the terminal

Close to airport and choice of 2 eating places. Early morning shuttle.

I wasn’t sure how I could get the shuttle from airport to hotel.

Spacious rooms, very nice gym, good restaurant, excellent location (walking distance to the four terminals), would definitely stay again.

Staff extra friendly

Peanuts in minibar tasted stale but were in date until May 26- couldn’t eat them

It was really great location right next to taxi rank at Melbourne airport, rooms were immaculate and bed was comfy. The staff were absolutely wonderful especially Kim and Ray and very helpful.

Only complaint that's very minor is the size of the mini fridge, it's standard vertical height but the depth horizontally could barely fit a small tray of takeaway or a microwave meal for comparison. Have to play Jenga to get it to fit stuff

Nothing, the check in process took an hour, surly staff who don’t apologise for the delay, an incorrect room allocation meant I had to return to reception to get the right type of room (which should have been a queen bed and yes I took a photo to prove to the staff)

The horrid check in process, was inefficient and rude. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.

Appreciated an upgrade to a deluxe room which was spacious very clean and the bed very comfortable. Had dinner in the pub downstairs great place to chill and the food was good.Staff very friendly and accomadating.Look forward to staying on our next trip.

The breakfast had a good selection.

A dark dingy small room with food scraps from a previous client on the floor and a half drunk bottle of sparkling water in the fridge for which we were charged ! Difficult to operate the shower and the room telephone didn't appear to work. The toilet seat was not fixed property and needed attention.

Everything was great apart from the length of time it took to check in. Very clean, comfy beds. Perfect for early flight.

The machines wouldn’t let me check in and advised me to see a receptionist but each customer took an average of 5 to 10mins and there were quite a few people waiting.

The fast and friendly check in, organizing the courtesy bus for our flight. The overall experience was enjoyable

The only little picky thing would be the noise, our room was overlooking the Federal Police building close to Jetstar Terminal. However, this did not ruin our stay.

Brand new hotel. Very close to the airport - a short easy walk.Very clean rooms.Nice choice of food, but a shame the café closes at 3 pm!!

The room was noisy considering it is a new hotel. All you could hear was planes taking off and landing!I thought it was expensive for a pretty basic room.

Lovely rooms, restaurants and public spaces looked nice but we didnt get a chance to try them as we flew in late and flew out late.

A slight walk to the hotel from the airport but nothing crazy, they do have a shuttle but we didnt use it.

Very relaxing, quiet and within walking distance to the terminals.
