Hotel Alexander

I didn't stay as I made a mistake with the booking. I have tried for the past week to rectify this matter, with no luck.

Great Location. Great Value for the price. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was really nice, way better than the free breakfast one gets in USA Value hotels. Location was great.2 min. walk to bus stop + 12 min. bus ride to Venice. GREAT!

Can't think about anything. May be a bigger soap and bottled shampoo instead a pouch shampoos. That's all I can think off.

Perfect location, near by bus stop and tram stop. The room was perfect size, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast.

There could be a bottle of water provided in the room. It is 4 starts hotel. There was a bar in hotel but we never seen a person working there. So we couldn't order anything from there.

Only two pillows and very flat. We found an extra blanket but no extra pillows

The staff was very friendly and able to guide me around when I was quite lost. Room was quiet at night time which helped with jet lag.

Area around location was not what I expected but was not bad.

Everything was perfect! The location is great and just a short walk from a really nice restaurant and tram into Venice!

The rooms were clean. The personnel was very respectful and helpful. Great location, very close to the train and bus stations. You can get from the train station to the hotel by a 20-30 minute walk

The vanity set didn’t include the q-tips and cotton pads, this was the only issue, since I don’t usually bring them with me

Staff were really accommodating and when i asked for special requests for my girlfriends birthday they deliver with a gorgeous bunch of flowers and a lovely cake

Location and free parking

No coffee and tea in the room. Weak WiFi signal and slow. Wrong information by reception about visiting Venice by tram which caused us a fine of 50€. Very bad.

Incredibly convenient to Venice with the ease of being outside. Saw so many people dragging luggage inside Venice which is misery. We pulled right up to hotel door to unload car. Very close to gas station, parking and garage parking. Excellent breakfast. Nice lobby bar, simple and sufficient. Easy for delivery drivers to bring food. Maybe the BEST shower/water pressure in all of Italy.

Lobby decor is peculiar. The rooms/hallways are very simple and modern but the lobby is traditional and a little strange.

Reception area isn’t showing 4* but the rooms definitely do! Spacious, modern, comfortable, clean plus a real duvet (not so obvious in Italy). Very comfortable bed. Perfect location to visit Venice.

Location is good, easy access to Venice with a direct tram line, room was sufficiently big, clean, towels changed every day.

20min by foot to Mestre center, bed is a bit uncomfortable, window didn’t open, and the biggest minus is that they advertise on booking that they have free parking but it is only cca. 10 spots and if those are not free you need to park in the hotel garage which they charge 15€/day. Mind you there are a lot more than 10 rooms in the hotel, so we ended up paying for the first day, and it would be perfectly fine if they were transparent about it before one made a ”no refund” reservation.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, big rooms, quiet neighbourhood, daily cleaning and towel change.

Really good place to stay. Location is amazing, clean, calm, safe, good price and definitely worth it.

The comfortable rooms, the próximo to the tram to Venice and convenience of having free parking.

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and forthcoming. The rooms were clean and nice looking (I think they were renovated not long ago). WiFi was working nicely in the rooms. The location is perfect to visit Venice city, since the tram T1 is very close by and it's very cheap for return ticket (3 EUR).

We booked two rooms, in one of them the refrigerator didn't work. It wasn't an issue for us, since we had the other one. Bigger issue was that it was very hot in the rooms (over 25 degrees), because AC system in the building wasn't switched to cooling. So, however the staff tried to lower the temperature, it didn't work. Opening the windows would help, but since there was a flat roof in front of the windows, we didn't feel comfortable sleeping with windows open, since you could enter the room via the roof.
