Hotel San Carlo

Modern room.

Location did not feel safe to me. Lighting was poor in the room. Breakfast was no included.

Location, staff is polite and friendly. Parking is safe.

Heating is provided by AC which smells like a mold, stale air.

Excellent location, close to the city center and to the public transport to Venice. Also, there is free private parking.

The shower place was a little bit uncomfortable with this curtain.

Wifi didin’t work, very slow.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! While it is quite an old hotel, it is clean and kept well. It is also well located, easy to get to venice, the train station, and the airport.

You have to give reception your room key each time you leave which made me quite uncomfortable.

Good spot if you want to visit a Venice! 3 min by walk from the train, big grocery and different cafes 15-20 minutes by walk.Very friendly staff, parking is right around a corner, under a cameras.

Shower is a little bit small :(

Good hotel outside Venice. Easy to go to Venice. Free parking. If the parking is full, there's always parking available on the streets. The lady at the reception was very friendly. Although we didn't ask, they provided us with a baby crib. We didn't use it, but they paid attention to details. Breakfast available $

Hotel is having italian ambient, you can feel the vibe and the atmosphere.Rooms was spacious, clean and it was warm inside, there is a balcony which you can open. Pillows are flat, so if you like puffy pillows you will struggle a bit.Breakfast options-buffet with pastries, boiled eggs, jams and chocolate creme, cheese and ham, coffe, water and juices.All in all great experience

The location

The room was not quite clean, the hair dryer was awful, bathroom dissapointing. Even saw a bug.

Price performance was great, staff was very nice, close to venice center by bus, just 10 mins, 3 euro return ticket you can buy at the hotel. Room was clean and enough.

Close to the Tram to Venice. Free parking for our car. Very good Breakfast. Staff was very good.

We were on the third floor (which we requested) so room was very stuffy as the AC was turned off (not use to that). But they gave us a very nice fan which helped.

No tea / coffee making machine in room.

Great friendly staff on arrival with information to get around. Huge room and ensuite. Comfy bed, was able to get extra pillows on request. Would recommend if wanting something budget friendly and only 15mins from main Venice island.

Tiny shower with curtain (kind of sticks to you when showering). Thin walls, could hear someone snoring and other noises.

We liked the room, very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, they shared a lot of information on how to reach Venice, what to visit, where to buy tickets, etc. Would be nice to have a fridge in the room and maybe a kettle for tea/coffee.

Very well located, away from the tourist mobs but still just 20m away from Venice. Very friendly staff, the price was good as well. Plenty of shops and cafes nearby too

Proximity to tram, shops, restaurants, and Venice

No mini fridge to keep water cool or basic tea and coffee facilities. Little microwave would be great

I didn't like anything about it. Because This experience is very bad

old and dirty, bad breakfast, price is too high for this hotel
