Pros +
- It's on the mainland near Venice, easy to walk to from the train station, and cheap.
- Heating works very well, hot water doesn't run out, as it often does. Very close to train station, 8 minutes to Spar and McDonalds and most importantly - 24hr check-in.
- Hotel is in convenient location, close to Mestre train station and bus loop to the airport. Normally good value for the money and I've stayed there before.
Cons -
- Frightening employees. I met travelers who'd missed their train, and I offered to let them come to my hotel for the night. I figured a small fee for extra guests would cover it, but the employees threatened to call the cops. Maybe Italian law is to blame.
- In some of the rooms showers and beds are a bit too small to shower/sleep comfortably, but it's good enough for a couple of days.
- Ground floor room smell was atrocious. Sewer issues or something. Had to open a window in order to breath. Be careful about what room you book.

Well situated on ground floor, nice bar and dining area, close to restaurants and shopping.
Got scalped at the bar. no negotiation on 3rd night booked by mistake.
Very convenient for the bus & train lines. Comfortable & clean.
The staff very helpfulVery near to the train station
My room view was a parking area ?
The location was really convenient as it is in a short distance from Venice Mestre station, about 10-15 minutes ot walking Just near the hotel in 3 minutes walk you can catch a bus taking you to island part of Venice in 15-20 minutes of ride. The room is old-fashioned as in the rest of Italy. WiFi was OK. We had a pleasant coffee break at the little terrace of the hotel's cafe.
They tried to charge us for the things that actually normal in other hotels. I booked 2 separate beds on the booking website but when I arrived with my friend we were told that they knew nothing about it and asked 40 EUR to separate the beds. We asked for early check-in at noon again they asked for it 30 eur at the hotel and 20 before the arrival via messenger.
Very close to the train and bus stations. Breakfast was included and there was a decent selection of food.
The concierge did not give me the wifi code or explain that I needed to put the keycard into a slot by the door. The AC dropped water on the floor.
Good location.
Shower tap and hair dryer didn't work properly due to partially broken, some noise from the door. Blanket is not good.Storage of luggage is ok but they seems they do not care these luggage much.
It was walkable from the airport bus line and train station. We did find a great restaurant nearby, and it was an easy walk to the city center the next morning. City center was beautiful.
It was a bit expensive for the neighborhood.
I spent only one night at Hotel Regit and I was happy with my choice. The next morning I had a very early train and the proximity to the train station was a real plus. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's a basic hotel, but it met my needs. I would consider this hotel again.
The bathroom doesn't have any place to hold toiletries. Adding a shelf, even a small one, would help.
Staff is very good, location is good, very clean hotel
the hotel location is within the walking distance (5 mins) to the train station. There are many restaurants nearby and supermarket is within walking distance.
the bed is not very comfy. the wall is thin and you can hear sound from other rooms which can disturb your sleep.
Basic but reasonably priced. If you can't afford venice it's a good choice. Terrific restaurant just up the road
The location of the hotel was great; it is 3 minutes walk from the main bus/train station, as well as the bus stop which goes to Venice. The location itself is not loud, considering that is on the main street, but there seems to be lots of refugees around (which seems to be typical for this part of Italy). The room itself was very spacey, and had everything you need. The staff is very kind.
The only disappointment was the breakfast. It was definitely not worth the money. Rather go for breakfast to the nearby restaurants and cafes. Also, the matrasses were slightly too hard, but for couple of nights is ok.
very good location, close to the train station and airport busses, it was a good value of money compared to other hotels in Venice. the staff was very helpful
one room was a bit small and other bigger rooms had extra beds that were uncomfortable, but for us it was ok
This is my third occasion that I stayed at this hotel. It is very close to the train station, and while not in old town that is just an additional 10 minutes to get to it. The rooms are kept at good temperature both in August, and in December. There are a couple of very nice dining opportunities available closeby too.
Localization is very close to the train station.
We didn't like the bed and the heating system was a bit noisy and we expected more in the breakfast.
It is strategically placed close to the railway station, with two bus stops that permit you to reach Venice easily or alternatively save the 20-minute walk to the centre of Mestre. In my personal opinion, the position is critically good.
When I visited the hotel in the middle of December, it was dressed for festive days in a cozy mood. The ambience was relaxed and modern at the same time, and for me, as an Italian traveller, a professional coffee machine just 10 steps after the entrance matters.
Excellent location only a couple of minutes away from the rain station which takes. Trains are frequent and journey time is ten minutes to Venice. You can walk from the train station in Venice to Piazza Roma in a few minutes or catch the boat right outside the station which takes you to the Rialto Bridge or St Marks squares in 15-20 minutes. There is a fabulous restaurant excellent food and service right by the hotel called Michelle’s it has an extensive menu and the Italian food there is excellent we were four people and each ordered different pasta dishes each one was amazing.
Breakfast self service, cheese slices, Italian ham, boiled eggs, yoghurt, butter, jams, honey, bread rolls, croissants, cake, cereals, coffee, tea. There was enough of a limited choice to start the day but paper plates that’s my only criticism other than that the location and hotel itself for the price was fantastic.
