    Pros +

    • It is a very nice Swedish hotel with comfortable accommodations and ample room. It is close to restaurants and grocery stores too. Metro and bike rentals were within three blocks.
    • Staff were very accomodating.
    • The breakfast buffet was amazing. All the Swedish foods I crave for breakfast.

    Cons -

    • Construction noise. However, it stopped by 5pm and should only go on for the next two months while the restaurant is being renovated.
    • It was a bit farther away from the center of town than I had estimated, but convenient to metro and bike access.
    • The architecture is a bit bizarre, especially the double elevator shafts integrating with a health club adjoining and company offices, weird. Not cozy. The breakfast hall is meandering and confusing, not at all Scandinavian Design as the Scandic Molndal.

    No in-room dining.

It was close to catch the bus to the airport.

Location is a distance from sightseeing and downtown. They advertised a bar and restaurant. There is one next door but it is not always open. No ice if they are not open.

Furnishings, wifi, staff and generous late check out policy, awesome breakfast.

Good hotel, lack of air-conditioning is serious though as some rooms face an arterial street, and the open windows litterally scoop up any sound and reflect it into the room. Also hard to darken the room, and night time is only 4 hours in summer.

A little far from main area

    Amazing breakfast!!!

    9KatherinePosted on: 1-25-2026

Breakfast buffet is outstanding starting with ginger shots and many table of food including gluten free and large selection / variety. Veryspacious rooms and very comfortable bed. Option of luxury spa and gym

The shower was difficult to stop dripping

Nice spa facilities, good breakfast, nice facilities in the room

It's a bit out of the city center but there are still some restaurants in the area and good if you like peace and quiet in the area.

They messed up our bookings and sent us to a sister branch instead. Told us we were guaranteed the same tier rooms and charged us accordingly, then gave us all the cheapest rooms without offering compensation.

    10OtlynPosted on: 1-19-2026

We appreciated the nice decor of the hotel's interior and the cleanliness of our room, as well as the convenient central location. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of options and was delicious.

    quality of room

had to pay for swimming pool, shower flooding in bathroom

Very convenient and clean hotel. Breakfast is wonderful.

They charged me to copy 3 pages for 8 dollars. It should be a no charge courtesy IMO.

    Breakfast

A short distance from train station should be no problem during summer, but it felt longer in the cold weather.

    6MariamPosted on: 1-4-2026

The location was near metro to go to the city center, and if it’s a good weather going to the center is really walkable. Also it’s really close to the bus which takes you to the airport.

There were no facilities provided. Such as slippers, toothpaste and others. The breakfast wasn’t the best. From 4 stars i excepted something more.

    The location

The room was small, somewhat shabby and unclean

    10LynnPosted on: 12-9-2025

Outstanding breakfast, very gluten free friendly. Very good, friendly and professional service. Clean. Comfortable beds. Good room temperature. Proper black out curtains. Amazing gym (free for guests). Lovely bathroom products (Vana). Quiet surroundings. Everything you need nearby, various supermarkets, public transport, Systembolaget.

We wanted to use the spa but we felt it was a little bit too expensive even with the guest discount.

    8MaximilianPosted on: 11-7-2025

The staff was exceptionally friendly, cosy atmosphere even though it's quite a large hotel. Clean everywhere, comfortable beds.

We somehow missed that the spa is not included in the price. That was a bit of a bummer. But the sauna and gym are free. So it's all good.

    8DamienPosted on: 11-4-2025

    Good selection of foods.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Very busy. People reserving a table, then going back to their room.
