Location great and very quiet. Breakfast and staff very good.

The size of the room for the money we paid

An old and historic building, refurbished into this hotel. The building has its quirks and if you don’t like reused older architecture, this might not be for you. My attic room was clean and neat, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was good. I enjoyed working from the courtyard, where I spent a few hours on my laptop.

I like old buildings and when the sense of place includes the west of time. If that’s not your thing, you might be happier at a new hotel that has air conditioning or stone floors without wear. The attic room was a bit stuffy in August, but I could open the large skylight and prop the door to the hallway and it cooled down quickly.

Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful staff. Excellent central location for getting around the city via tunnelbana. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast.

The configuration of the front entry isn't very inviting, but it's not untypical for traditional urban European hotels, and it's only a first-time impression.

Breakfast was okay but not much selection

No Ice and no first aid kit for Safety - my child got hurt and couldn’t get any medical care Bathroom too small - you can’t sit at toilet with being on an angle with door shut.

We got a handicap equipped bathroom so the floor got very wet all over the bathroom very easily and the room was very hot with no ac, and we were on a first floor room right next to the social area so we didn’t feel comfortable opening the room window.Hotel front was under maintenance and we hadn’t been notified.

For the price, I found myself in the center of town. The breakfast was nice, and it seemed that people were enjoying the indoor patio.

This could be my fault for not paying attention during booking, however, the room I got was in the cellar of the hotel, the room was the same I had in Japan during my last visit there... but in Japan you are expecting this, not in Sweden.There was no ac or a way to open windows, there was hardly any natural light to speak of, and when I took a shower of about 10 minutes, I found that I had almost flooded the bathroom.I doubt I will be back anytime soon...

Our room had no window & got very hot, though they did provide a fan.

The location was perfect, not in the center center but really close to the old town and very walkable.The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices and the breakfast hours are perfect from 8 till 11am.

The bathroom is a little small and there if not lift if you need it but is nothing to really complain about

Good value for money. Not the most fancy hotel but it had everything we needed including a location with walking distance to everyting, good breakfast, clean and not too expensive.

Breakfast was fine, location od hotel close to the main station and public transport, city centre reachable by feet in 20 min.

Room veru small, only a Ned and bathroom, no chairs or shelfs. Windows veru small and too high.

The room I got had a curtain but no window, which could be pretty misleading since I also saw replies from the hotel stating that every room was equipped with a window. For me it wasn’t the end of the world since I only stayed for one night, but if it would’ve been longer than that I’d probably ask for another room.

It was super close to the city center. Is there a metro station near (Hötorget) so Gamla stan is less then 10 minutes. The breakfast was great, with a lot of option (gluten free, lactose free etc) The room was small but good for price, it was clean.

There was no window in our room. It was quite frustrating. We didn’t like that, but it was ok for one night…

Location is really good, walking distance to the old city and Central station, close to some shops. The bed was perfect, quite soft and warm. I like it!My room was ordinary (double) but enough of the light, warm and clean. Breakfast is served with amazing bread, some vegetables, meatballs, omelette, yogurts, corn flakes, cheese, salami and etc. Also some Swedish food like pate, pickles, Kalles caviar. Only one thing there is no elevator.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hötorget and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, though it’s worth noting that towels and linens were only changed upon request — not daily by default. The same applied to room cleaning, but that wasn’t a major issue for me.The hotel’s location is truly fantastic — right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and public transport. It really made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.The staff were friendly and helpful, especially a young Spanish lady at the front desk who stood out with her kindness and professionalism. Breakfast was decent — nothing exceptional, but enough to get the day started.In summary, a solid choice if you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with clean rooms and welcoming staff. Just be sure to request fresh towels or cleaning if you need it.Rating: 4/5
