The location is great. The hotel and the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The rooms are somewhat small and noisy
I had a very pleasant stay and was truly satisfied with my experience. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about guest satisfaction. The hotel’s location is very convenient and makes it easy to get around. My room was clean and comfortable. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would be happy to stay here again.
The room was small but warm and homey. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The staff were very nice. The complimentary breakfast at the Lady Hamilton (around the corner) was excellent. There were many local restaurants to choose from, the 7-11 was just around the corner and the Co-op was not too far away. The Old Town/Gamla Stan is wonderful. The maritime / naval decor of the hotel was perfect.
I was very happy with the room. Yes, it was small but it was a single and it compared well with London, Zurich and Tokyo for single, economical rooms. A fridge would have made it perfect.
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Excellent location in old town. Nutritious breakfast.
Room was small but cozy. The location was fantastic, right on the edge of the historical district. The best part of it is that you’re close to food, drink, shopping, and activities but everything closed before ten o’clock. That means no commotion outside your window. The hotel is also quite charming.
Breakfast was not much beyond coffee but that’s almost expected throughout Europe.
The marine motif is way overdone but personally I liked it. The permit is perfectly located in the Main Street of the old quarter. Clean and simple. What else do you need after all?
The breakfast is simple, yet there is anything you would have at home. More continental style of breakfast. Don’t expect scramble eggs
Location and staff is good.
Rooms were too small and in breakfast was too smalloptions.
The room was as big as I expected - they are small, but comfortable. The location is great for exploring old town. The breakfast was basic but good enough.
Small, but lovely interior and cozy room. At first I thought the room was cold, but once I discovered the radiator and turned it on, the whole room warmed up instantly and became so cozy! Perfect location, and the view from the window was absolutely adorable.
The walls were a bit thin and I could hear some street noise and voices, but to be honest, it felt like part of the real travel experience :>
The most amazing, kind, and caring staff. The hotel is located in the heart of old town and was a true home to me in Stockholm .
The unique design and friendly service
Avoid the rooms with Main Street view: very loud at night
Great location in old town, availability of coffee and hot tea all day were very helpful for brief rest stops during the day. Breakfast was decent. Overall, the hotel was quiet. Sister hotel around the corner offers sauna.
The room was very small with only 4x3 ft free space to move, the pictures posted on hotel’s website are possibly of the largest rooms. Although my room had a window, it faced a wall.
The amount of effort gone into the history and the rooms and everything was absolutely sensational it made it so special! And the breakfast was so nicely done and satisfying. I also particularly enjoyed how friendly and polite the staff were, so refreshing to stay somewhere where everything was just 10/10. Would come back again in a heartbeat cannot recommend strongly enough
The main attraction is of course the collection of naval pieces stored in the hotel lobby and in the library, as well as the 17th century hotel building itself. Very central location in Gamla Stan, walking distance to very many locations in central Stockholm, and also to Slussen ferry station. Hotel rooms are very cozy but have practically all what you may need, also a very convenient bath. Hotel personnel is helpful, breakfast is good and simply enough to start your day.
Apart from some furniture pieces being somewhat tired (not a big issue though), what would be nice to see are slippers and also a kettle in the room.
Absolutely perfect location. In the heart of everything, close to the ferry terminal and Royal Palace.
There is no possibility for payment in Euros in cash. Only credit card payment is allowed.
Very lovely, perfectly located and chamber hotel.Room and hall are beautifully decorated, staff is very helpful, breakfast is small but includes all you may want.
The location could not be beat for Old Town!
For the price, I was surprised at how old and run down the hotel was. The breakfast was extremely sparse & the bedroom had no windows. It was a 2 star/budget kind of place.
